Our Montebello 1400 square foot, corner townhome is in one of Whistlers premier luxury developments in the Village North section of Whistler. It is within a 10 minute walk to Whistler Village with a grocery/liquor store, great shopping and restaurants. It is a 2-3 minute ride by bus or car to the base of Whistler or Blackcomb Mountains. The valley bike/walking trail runs beside Montebello and gives access to golf, lakes, hiking and mountain biking trails.
Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhome features a king bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom, a queen bed in the third bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. The living room is a bright open area with a 25 foot vaulted ceiling, has a gas fireplace and opens on to a private patio and hot tub. The gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops with modern appliances and heated flooring. There is also an in-suite washer/dryer, free wireless internet and TV's in each bedroom. There is also a BBQ and air conditioning for the summer months.
Park 1 vehicle in the garage, 1 in the driveway and guests can easily park in the visitor spaces nearby in the complex.

Summary: We stayed during a heat wave....thankfully we had booked air con just in case this happened. With the cold spring I wondered if we would need it?! We did. The only complaint was the AC was a bit older than a lot of the other units in the strata and thus struggled to keep up. The condo was very warm when we arrived and took awhile to get cool. And the AC unit was quite noisy. The stay was lovely, the kitchen fully equipped. Everything you need for a great stay. We liked being just a bit removed from the village as it is a bit quieter.
