Summary: The cabin was exactly what we were looking for after Christmas to decompress & relax. The location was gorgeous nestled in the woods, close to the lake, and the snow and hot tub made it more magical. The cabin was extremely clean and super comfortable. Great weekend getaway!

Summary: Excellent time at the cabin on Lake Albanese as a family of 5! We enjoyed fishing, playing fusball, campfire, hot tub, kayak, paddle boat, and relaxing! Host was very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!

Summary: My son came to Cooperstown to play baseball. The house was perfect for us since it was only 10 minutes away. I also loved that the house was pet friendly so I could bring my beagle. The house was clean and close to the lake. I highly recommend this rental.

Summary: I was there to celebrate the lives of 2 lost loved ones for their memorial service. A sad occasion & needed a peaceful place to stay. This was perfect. Adorable cabin. Pristine lake. Gorgeous area. Calming place. The bathroom is downstairs & only 1 bedroom is downstairs. My friend stayed in the room upstairs to provide me needed space. The stairs are loud/creaky. So bring earplugs if you are in this situation, because it will wake you if they need to come downstairs for bathroom. The only thing that would make this place better is a 2nd bathroom (perhaps make basement a bedroom & add a bathroom there?). Blackout curtains & new stronger shower head are needed items here. There is an odd odor with the wood & fragrance from detergent in cabin. Other than this, the cabin was perfection. Even with these issues, it was exactly what I needed. I would stay here again & might plan an annual trip here.

Summary: I have to say, it’s comforting to know when you stay at one of Michael’s properties you are in good hands. This is our 4th time staying in one of his cabins and we were not disappointed. My wife and I with our 3 young boys had a great time. The house was everything we have come to expect, and the lake was amazing. We only stayed a few short days this time but will definitely be back!

Summary: Beautiful property, quiet, clean, pristine, a perfect place for a family to spend a Catskill's week in the summer. Very impressed with the furnishings and the availability of kayaking and a paddle boat. For anyone wishing to fish as well as kayaking and/or swimming, this is a gem. If we were asked to make one suggestion it would be regarding the number of place settings (dishes, silver, glassware) and bathroom linens. The listing shows an accomodation for eight. But there were odd numbers of the above - none approaching eight. If we were asked whether or not we would recommend it would be a resounding "yes". Whether for adults only or a family with children, it would be a treat.
