Located in Oyster Bay, New York and originally landscaped by the Olmsted Brothers, the grounds feature 409 acres of greenhouses, rolling lawns, formal gardens, woodland paths and outstanding plant collections. The original historic estate buildings remain intact including Coe Hall, a 65-room Tudor Revival mansion designed by Walker and Gillette. Summary: This is a small but cute little apartment in a quiet neighborhood. It was well equipped and the owner had put in some extras like toothpaste and tooth brushes for everyone and popcorn. We only stayed one night but it served us well.

Summary: The owners were nice to deal with. They were trying. The place wasn’t at all what I expected. It’s a basement not a luxury condo. That said, it has good books and it was functional. The beds are not good for more than one person each. There’s no laundry. The bedding wasn’t particularly nice. I gave it a courtesy “good” because it has potential but they probably won’t realize it unless they pay more attention. Again, this isn’t the house you see on Google maps, it is the dark basement. That was deceiving. The entrance is dank.

Summary: It was a nice place with all the essentials you’d need for a short term stay. The only tough part was the second door was very hard to open. The keys did not work. The keys only worked for the main outside door. Other then that we have no complaints!

Summary: This property is in a picturesque location within a nice neighborhood with plenty of street parking. The apartment is nicely private. Our issues were the mice that woke us in the middle of the night. There was not enough toilet paper to last through our rental period, and the smoke detector was attached to the ceiling with scotch tape. This place would be great if those problems were fixed.

Summary: Very comfortable, spacious one-bedroom apartment in a super convenient location. The space was very clean and there was plenty of light. Was able to use the desk area to work virtually for a few days, no issues with the WiFi. Would stay again!

Summary: Son and I (mom) stayed for two weeks, while my son attended an engineering day camp. I was able to work remotely, full-time thanks to an excellent internet & wifi connection, as well as an additional monitor and desk provided by the host. The location is close to restaurants, coffee shops, and laundromats in Oyster Bay. The sofa does not pull out, and may not be comfortable for two weeks. However, this was easily addressed with an inflatable mattress, and our host was extremely responsive and provided additional sheets on request.
