Situated at the end of a country track and in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) the house sleeps up to 22 people in 8 bedrooms/9 bathrooms plus two dressing rooms and a mezzanine. With over 9000 square feet there is plenty of space for people to be together or curl up somewhere peaceful with a book. Eight acres of garden. Heated outside swimming pool from April to mid-October and games room with table tennis, pool and table football. Movie room with 65 inch OLED TV screen with surround sound and huge collection of DVDs plus SKY, Netflix etc. Huge, well-equipped 40ft kitchen with Aga plus conventional ovens and long table that seats 24. Secondary kitchen also large and perfect for grandparents or parents with young children who want to get away from the fray. Excellent walking /cycling all around and nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Wilton House, Stourhead, Longleat and the world-famous Jurassic coastline. Lots of good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Summary: This house is set in beautiful grounds with wonderful views. It's a fabulous social space to spend time with friends and family. Loads of areas for relaxing, playing games and entertaining. Would highly recommend it.

Summary: This house is a truly unforgettable place to stay. Absolute fantastic. Huge amounts of space even for a party of 22, lots of art on the walls and a fantastic kitchen more than big enough for everyone to eat together (and there is even a second kitchen if needed!). The owners were welcoming and responsive. Great walks from the door and a great local pub. Thoroughly recommended.

Summary: We had a wonderful Christmas staying at this amazing house - incredibly spacious and well appointed, with outstanding views and grounds which the photos and description don't fully convey. Our host was also extremely helpful and welcoming. The only downside was having to return home at the end... Highly recommended!

Summary: Amazing communication with our host and an absolutely stunning property in beautiful grounds. The pool was bigger than it looked in pictures, there was almost a bathroom with every bedroom, and the lounge/dining room is perfect for huge dinner parties. We loved it here!
