Summary: We loved staying in this beautiful family house! Even though our stay was cut short, we enjoyed staying 2 nights. The house is big and functional, the kitchen is well equipped. Summary: This place is exactly as described. What you don't see on the listing are the nice touches! There are little accomodations everywhere. Toiletries, fun signs, even a map of the kitchen. The linens and beds are so soft and comfy, all the furniture is solid and the rooms are quiet. Plenty of places to sit and relax. The porches are inviting, we spent most of our time outside! The property manager is very communicative and helpful. The town of Brenham is about 15 minutes away and worth carving out a whole day to explore.

Summary: Celebrated our 40th anniversary with our kids and grandkids and this property was perfect! The swimming pool was perfect as we were able to keep an eye on the grandchildren from the deck and family room. Incredible views of the countryside made for great pics. Each bathroom was unique and the tile work was beautiful. The upstairs was a fun space and made for great movie nights. Incredible property with lots of history!

Summary: My sisters and I loved the house and the property, it was very nice and cute. But the pool was not described as an endless pool that was just an exercise pool. It is the middle of July, so we really chose this house for the access to a nice pool to be able to spend the hot days in. And we definitely did not get that. Even if we would have tried to all cram in there, apparently all of the chemical levels were off on it and we learned this the day before we left so good thing we never got in. If you do not care to use the pool or hot tub, then it is the perfect place. We were just very disappointed to pay this price and not have a pool, we definitely would not have chosen the place if we knew.

Summary: This home and the smaller guest cottage were just charming. The home is spacious and has great views of the countryside. It is an hour from Austin and a little over an hour from Houston so it is very convenient if you’re coming from one of those areas. The guest host (Matt) was very responsive for our few questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you want to get away from the big city, this is a place to come to and relax!

Summary: The house and property are so beautiful that the girls and I wished we booked for 4 nights instead of 2. Plenty of space and a perfect location to relax. The scenery was breathtaking! Summary: This house was beautiful, perfectly appointed and had everything one could want. The attention to detail in the home was spot on. There was every amenity you could want, including high end appliances, a steam shower and ample supplies. Unlike so many places you stay, this property had all the durable good you would need even including snacks and k-cups! Would definitely stay again.
