A large luxury Mongolian yurt secludedly perched on higher ground with extensive views over the delightful rolling Constable Countryside of the Box River Valley. While romantically ‘off-grid', the yurt is decked out to the highest standards of interior comfort being fully carpeted and triple skinned to ensure the log burner creates a warm and timeless snug for couples or families to lose themselves in. Being on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty, and with immediate access to a four acre wild meadow, there is lush green nature in abundance under Suffolk's large open skies. The yurt is the perfect place to getaway, disconnect and unwind.
The Yurt
On a raised wooden platform the yurt is eighteen feet in diameter creating a generous interior living space with full underlaid wool carpet. The walls and roof have two layers of canvas with modern insulation in-between keeping it warm in lower temperatures and cooler in higher ones. There is a classic brass ended king-sized bed with matching bedside tables and solar reading lamps, a three-seater Laura Ashley sofa and a trundle bed that breaks out into two sturdy full sized single beds.
The Cabin
Next to the Yurt is a wooden structure containing the essential amenities.
The Kitchen - with uninterrupted open views across the valley, it features a generous worktop with a four-ring gas hob, large butler's sink (with cold tap), fridge/freezer, phone charging point and all the necessary cooking implements, crockery and cutlery.
The Shower Room - with a luxury lavatory, gas powered hot shower with large tray and wash basin with cold water.
Outside
WOOD FIRED HOT TUB. On an elevated platform with views over the valley is a new Royal Tubs Delux wood-fired hot tub for soaking away lazy days. There is an extra charge payable with one day’s usage including sufficient wood and a full pre-clean with fresh water being £75 with additional days charged at £35. Takes approximately 90 plus minutes to get to temperature dependant on how warm or cold the ambient air is. PLEASE NOTE this wood fired hot tub has a wonderful organic off-grid feel, though unlike electric ones it doesn't work instantly with the flick of a switch and it doesn’t have jets. It requires regular feeding with wood and stirring and is wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable.
There are a private lawned area which contains a sunken firepit, marble dining table, two large wooden benches, two sun-loungers and a BBQ. Beyond is a four acre wild meadow to explore. Parking is off the road at the start of the path that leads to the Yurt.

Summary: This is our second stay in this beautiful Yurt. The decoration and furnishings are outstanding, everything is pristine with quality bed linen and towels. The yurt is totally private for a romantic escape. Everything is provided to cook a meal in the kitchen or cook on the BBQ, super outdoor furniture and a small fire pit to light in the evening. The shower is superb with plenty of hot water. There a a few local pubs within a short drive if you wish to venture out. Many thanks again Charlie for a wonderful stay and hope to book again!

Summary: I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here for a birthday get away. Everything you needed was all there and the bed was extremely comfortable as well as it being nice and dark with the overhead cover. Communication and instructions were super clear, we cant wait to go back!

Summary: Oh my goodness, what a fabulous "homecation" ...I wish I could have stayed longer! The yurt was decorated fabulously with comfortable sofas, beds, and fabrics. I was also amazed by the amount of space and how well it was used within the yurt, you don't feel cramped in at all! The views are breath taking, and the firepit made for a great addition, a wonderful place to have a glass of wine around in the evening! I was really impressed with the kitchen unit built to the side, it had everything I needed in there and more. I will definitely be coming back and with such lovely direction and help from Charlie Allsopp it made the whole experience smooth and stress-free!

Summary: We stayed in the yurt over my birthday weekend. Setbina beautiful, private area, with a stunning meadow to the front of the yurt. The facilities are fantastic, with private shower, toilet and a full kitchen, complete with utensils. During our stay we cooked several meals and the experience was amazing, with the beautiful views from the open kitchen. The yurt itself is beautiful. It's large inside and so comfortable, and the log burner is so great to use! Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We had a mini break here with our family (baby and 2 year old). We had the best time! Charlie was super responsive and welcomed us, the property was spotless, and whilst accessible also private. We had the best time relaxing by the fire, enjoying the yurt and exploring the local area. Want to go again!
