Summary: Home had a beautiful view of the lake, loved the large deck. Hosts were very communicative and eager to help us with any issues or requests. Would absolutely stay again. One thing is it’s a bit far (short drive, just not walking distance) from the town of Manson proper, we didn’t mind though.

Summary: The home was well appointed and very comfortable. Having the downstairs living and kitchen area was great, it gave us and our grown children their own space. It was a bit remote but overall a lovely location.

Summary: The house is a nice house with great views. Fun to have a pool game and shuffleboard game. It is ~4-mile away from Manson downtown but in a nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the views, all-day long, and the stars at night. The closest access to the lake is ~ 4-mile away. It looks on the map that there is some access down the road to the lake but we saw “no trespassing” signs on the roads or “road closed” signs where there appears to be an access to the lake on google map,... Like in the previous review, I would say there is nothing majorly wrong with this property but many discomforting details. A few examples: there are 2 flatscreen TV in entertainment space and 1 TV in a bedroom but we were not able to turn on any of them. We called to get help with this problem and I know this is not a major problem but it is well advertised on the rental description. This is when we realize that we might not get much help perhaps because we booked this house via VRBO but the house is managed by vacation angel network. I would suggest to book through the vacation angel network for this rental as recommended in the “guest information binder” and you might get help if you have a problem. About cleanliness, I think that $375 for cleaning is pretty high and I expected to enter a very clean house. It was clean but we found pants that do not belong to us when we enter one of the bedrooms which made me quickly uncomfortable. Old fruit peels and dirty tooth picks on the outdoor furniture. Dirty pots and plates (3 plates for 3 guests/set and chipped, for a luxury home?). We have rent many houses through VRVO for the past 10 years and we have never rent a house without shampoo for at least one night. Hand soap was provided but you’ll have to do a 8-mile round trip to the closest store if you want some shampoo. I am going to stop here because this is still a nice house to rent but a few basic items,... would have made our stay more comfortable.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this Manson home! The location is great and views were spectacular. The beds were comfy and the house was impressively clean. We had a little trouble with A/C in the main living area but the bedrooms and downstairs were very cool. My 4yo really enjoyed the upper loft area!

Summary: We had a very nice stay! The house is very well equipped -- probably the best equipped vacation home I've ever stayed at. The house is very well maintained and very comfortable. The view is spectacular! When we contacted the maintenance company due to an air conditioner not working, they were responsive and got a replacement unit as quickly as they could. My one suggestion to make the house even more comfortable would be to add shades or some sort of screening to the windows. The house is west facing, and while I understand wanting unobstructed views, it makes for a very hot house with no ability to reduce the sun exposure. I'd think it would help on the cooling bills as well. That said, we'd definitely stay here again!

Summary: We enjoyed our time. Pleasantly surprised that the home can actually be two separate residences. The home could have been vacuumed better but otherwise, it was a lovely stay. Great views. Pretty quiet neighborhood and not too far from anything. I would rent here again for sure!

Summary: Great property. Lots of activities with billiards and shuffle board. Amenities are good, two kitchens and a grill was helpful. Downstairs was nice for hot days, stays cool. Took a bit to get access to the property but not terrible. Good location and awesome views.
