This home is 10 minutes away from Raystown Lake. This home was designed for you and your large group to stay!! It has a fire pit, grill ping pong, pool table and arcade for the gaming enthusiast! There's also a stage where the kiddos can put on skits too!
The main level includes 2 MASTER SUITES with private bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry room, enclosed sun room, 2 story great room with stonework fireplace to ceiling (fireplace has a realistic electric log set for use), 2 car garage, dining room and massive backyard entertaining space including a huge fire pit.
The upper level includes 2 large bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The finished basement includes pool table, bar, arcade, ping pong table and stage will provide entertainment for hours. There is also an extra bedroom here.
The outdoor space includes a large covered patio area for sitting out of the sun and rain, a sun porch that is complete with pull out couches for sleeping as well as central air and heat into the room as well, a large concrete finished uncovered area for entertaining as well as a massive fire pit area and sitting wall along the flower gardens. The home is in a private upscale community a few short minutes from 7 Points Marina.
The Shamrock Chalet has something for every season and age group!! Sit outside on the large patio and watch an amazing sunrise as you sip your coffee or snuggle up inside or outdoors by the fire pit. Have a huge meal together around the dinning room table with plenty of seating space and room to prepare!
Whether you like to be at the lake or in the mountains enjoying the views, this is a win-win property. Go boating, hiking, mountain biking, hunting on the federal grounds, to a Penn State game, to a lake beach, water park, or gather with a large group of friends/family!! This home is perfectly designed for an extended family reunion, baby shower, church retreat and more.
Raystown Lake and Seven Points Marina is 10 minutes away down the mountain! Bring your boat and trailer! Our home has plenty of parking!! Or rent a boat, wave runner, or kayak. Raystown Lake is unique in that it is 28 miles of lake (8,300 acres) to to explore!! It is surrounded by Federal Game Land, all preserved in its natural habitat. This means no homes on Raystown Lake have private access to the water. The deer love to come for early morning strolls, so be on the lookout for all the wildlife around. There are two beach areas on the lake, two restaurants to dock the boat and get something to eat or get gas for the boat right on the water. Also, many little private coves and areas to explore!
We take pride in our home, and want you to feel at home when you are our guest. We take cleanliness seriously and will do our best to make sure everything is perfect for your vacation. We provide more so you can pack less: linens, blankets, sheets, towels, hands towels, dish soaps, dish towels, a full stocked gourmet kitchen, refrigerator, and games for the kids (and adults). If there’s a problem, let us know and we will resolve it. We can help you to navigate your trip, make recommendations for eating out and things to do, and will be responsive to your needs.
Wireless internet is provided at the home, 2 smart tvs, and a washer and dryer is yours to use as well.
The following is the layout of the home:
The first floor great room is open to the dining room and kitchen. The master primary bedroom 1 is on the first floor with an ensuite bathroom. There is a second master bedroom as well on this level, also with 1 king bed. You'll find another full bathroom here and laundry room as well.
The second floor boasts 2 more bedrooms and full bathroom.
The walkout basement has a game room area with another 2 queen sofa beds and the 5th bedroom. There is an additional full bathroom as well. It is here you'll find ping pong, a pool table and arcade with over 3,000 games!
There are 5 private bedrooms:
1st Floor Primary with king bed and bathroom suite
1st Floor second master bedroom with king bed
2nd Floor third bedroom, 1 king and 1 twin
2nd Floor fourth bedroom, 2 twins
Finished basement 5th bedroom, 1 Queen bed
RATES/FEES:
Base Rate Fee: Depending on the season and day of the week you incur a base fee associated with the days of your choosing. This fee covers up to 8 people in your party for stay at our homes along with all the amenities that come with the home.
Per Person Fee: There is a $20 dollar per person per night fee over 8 people. Our base rate covers 8 people and we will accept bookings up to the house limit to accommodate larger groups. The additional fee makes the cost more efficient for smaller groups and covers added cost and wear and tear/utilities/cleaning for ownership caused by larger groups.
Cleaning Fee: The cleaning fee covers cleaning costs/laundering of sheets/pillowcases/towels.
Pet Fee: Up to 3 pets are allowed in the home at any time. The pet fee is $100 per pet per stay to a max of 3 pets and $300. Allowing pets helps renters to not have to board their furry family members while away.
Resort/Management Fee: This fee is to cover the administrative and transactional cost of your booking that are associated with credit card processing and booking, document prep software .
RULES/RESTRICTIONS:
We will accept up to 18 overnight guests. Renters must be at least 25 years old, with no rentals for high-school or college parties without older adult (age 25+) supervision, renters insurance, and a commitment not to use the home for alcohol fueled partying! Pets are allowed with an additional fee. No smoking inside the house. Noise must be controlled after 9 p.m. If you need to cancel your reservation, we will refund 100% if you do so 60 days or more before your stay.
Our property is equipped with outdoor security cameras, and we will enforce these policies. Renters who choose to throw large fraternity style, alcohol fueled parties, will be held responsible for all damages, may have the police called, and may be have access to the property removed, forfeiting all monies paid. This policy ensures that we can offer a safe and secure guest experience, maintain our property in top shape for guests, and maintain respect for the neighbors.
Check-in procedures will be sent prior to arrival. We will generate a unique front door lock access code to each guest and you may be asked to have your ID for security. You will have our host's personal cell number and we can be reached any time before or during your trip to ensure a wonderful stay at our home!
Finally, we will clean the property after your stay, but we do require guests to leave the rooms and floors free of debris, trash, wet towels, dishes, etc. Sheets and towels will need to be placed in the laundry area and dishes cleaned and put back where they were found. This allows us to charge a smaller cleaning fee for such a large home. If any items are left behind we do charge a minimum of $25 extra for the return. This covers the time for our crew to go back and look for the item, as well as shipping.
