The distinction between ‘house’ and ‘home’ is an Irish one and there’s no place quite like it in an Irish person’s heart. Welcoming our guests and making them feel ‘at home’ is the most important part of what we strive to do here at Killarney Prestige Lodge (formally Killarney Manor House) since we decided to offer our ‘home’ for guest house rentals or vacation rentals. Conveniently located only 5 -10 min walk from Killarney town Centre and boasts eleven bedrooms which can accommodate up to 23 people comfortably. Full accommodation includes large lounge , spacious fully equipped modern kitchen, dining room, laundry room, pantry, 11 bedrooms, seven bathrooms with top of the range king size beds as well as an outdoor seating area with BBQ perfect for alfresco dining.
In addition to being only a short stroll to Killarney's world famous National Park, home of the majestic McGillycuddy Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland and the breathtaking Lakes of Killarney, Killarney Manor House is close to all amenities. Within minutes stroll of the property you will find a choice of grocery stores, churches, cathedral, post office, train station, bus station, spas etc., all you could wish for and in the evenings there is a wealth of traditional Irish Pubs where you can enjoy Irish music and dance at its finest as well as a host of highly recommended restaurants to choose from.
Not only this our guests will find themselves in the midst of a golfer’s paradise. The Kerry Region is famous for its golf courses and has long since attracted Golfers from around the world and Killarney is the ideal base. Killarney Golf & Fishing Club (Host to the Irish Open in 2010 & 2011), Kenmare, Ballybunion (World class links course), Tralee and Waterville are just some of the courses that can be found in the county of Kerry and indeed the famous Old Head of Kinsale course is also only a short drive away .
Killarney Manor House provides guests with a perfect base from which to take day trips including the Ring of Kerry, the Gap of Dunloe, Torc Waterfall and the Ring of Beara and much more. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, cycling, horse riding to mention a few. We would be delighted to offer our guests any advice or recommendations on our local attractions or organise any trips or activities upon request.
Killarney Prestige Lodge is the perfect setting for large family gatherings and indeed a base for a group of friends golfing or exploring in the Kerry region. We hope you will remember your stay with a smile.

Summary: This home was perfect! Just the right size for our large family, well stocked with supplies, treats, and toys for the kids. The main floor was welcoming with many welcoming gathering spaces in the kitchen, dining room and living room. The home was immaculate. Also, the location was ideal for sightseeing and walking into town. I highly recommend staying here!

Summary: We at this lovely home for one week…all 16 of us! The home was perfect for us…enough room for time together and time alone. The location was great! With five young teens they enjoyed the opportunity to walk into Killarney on their own! And one day all of us walked to the National Park and spent most of the day. It was close enough to both the bus station and the train station for groups to take short jaunts. There were several restaurants available within walking distance. We would highly recommend this house for any family and or group vacation!

Summary: Perfect location close to town and walking trails at Killarney House. Appreciated our large gift basket of goodies! The house was very roomy and loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Every night we enjoyed sitting outside with the fire pit!

Summary: Great property and location. Most bedrooms and baths are small, but who on vacation spends time in them. Very close to town, great patio and grill. They don't provide adaptors for electricity and it was hard to find them in town, bring your own.

Summary: I wonderful stay for a large group of golfers in a spacious home with all the amenities. Comfortable beds and mini en suites. We walked to and from Killarney city center and had a wonderful time finishing the evening on the outside patio.

Summary: Marion House is a perfect location - short walk to city center. Nearby convenience stores. Centra has an excellent full Irish breakfast. Golf and fun and fascinating day trips are easily accessible. Kitchen is well-stocked. Everything is brand new. Kevin and Gaby are responsive and accommodating hosts. I made a few suggestions re: adding shelves for convenience that they will probably incorporate quickly. I believe that all 13 of us would rate this a “trIp of a lifetime” experience.

Summary: This house was amazing for our 11 member family vacation in Killarney! Catriona was a wonderful host and the check in process was very easy. The bedrooms were lovely and all en suite, which was excellent! The huge kitchen and dining rooms were awesome to grab a seat, catch up and discuss our day. The location of the house is ideal, an easy walk to town, with a local convenience store and bike rental shop just down the street. We look forward to staying at Killarney Manor House again in the future!

Summary: We just finished a trip of a lifetime at Killarney Manor House. Five siblings in our 50s with spouses and kids ranging in age from 7-24 yrs - 20 people total. We lucked out with a rare treat of blue skies and weather in 70s and 80s so the sightseeing was spectacular. The house is perfect for a large multi-family group! Everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space. The kitchen is spacious and the large table in dining room was wonderful. The game room was lovely and so was the spacious and comfortable TV room. The location can’t be beat! Walkable to downtown Killarney and Killarney National Park! Catriona is a wonderful host/owner who is very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions and also gave us recommendations for caterers. We had 3 meals catered and it was the best decision we ever made! However, there are plenty of options with Killarney minutes away. Unfortunately the weather was hot which is unusual for Ireland so the house does not have A/C and we were quite hot at night, but I understand A/C is uncommon and often not needed. If global warming continues to raise the temps, fans in the rooms will be a must as fans would have been helpful. We sat outside and had wine and cheese on the stone tables out front every evening which was lovely! We appreciated the ample sleeping spaces, the laundry facilities, and the fact that everyone had their own bathroom! Killarney was the perfect central location with so much to do locally and it was a great gateway to tour the Ring of Kerry, the Ring of Beara, Cork and the Blarney Castle and Gardens. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful spot —-perfect for family reunions.
