Summary: Nice spot. Washer and dryer were convenient. TV and channels during down time were nice to have. Luckily the kitchen had USB ports built in, as I lost my adapter.

Summary: ‘Sonas’ House fulfilled our needs perfectly. We are a family of six, wanting to stay by the seaside while at the same time having to make a quick 20-minute daily commute to the National Aquatic Centre in Blanchardstown. Situated in a secluded treed area just a stone’s throw from the town of Portmarnock and within easy commuting distance to neighbouring coastal towns of Malahide and Howth, we found Sonas House to be bright, roomy and well equipped with everything we needed including Wi-FI, two large-screen TVs and an outdoor barbecue. We walked to the town for groceries and enjoyed family meals around the large wooden dining table. A few evenings we dined in first-class restaurants in Portmarnock and Malahide. We highly recommend Sonas House and will be back next year.

Summary: The property was very comfortable and clean. It is in a great location. We rented a car at the airport and it is about a 15 minute ride to the house. During our week, about 4 times we drove down the road about 5 minutes and parked at the train station and took the train into Dublin (about 20 minute ride). The other 3 days, we took day trips and drove to Wicklow Mountains park, across Ireland to the Cliffs of Moher, and up to Belfast, Northern Ireland. The house was in a nice location for all of that. There were only 5 of us (all adults), but the house would easily accomodate 5 more and still be spacious. I highly recommend this property!

Summary: Mr Connolly was most helpful to us in overcoming a hi fi hookup issue which was primarily our fault. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, attractive and clean. Thank you for a very nice two day stay

Summary: This beautiful house was perfect house for our family of 8 (three generations) - very spacial, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, beautifully decorated. Paul was a wonderful host - responding to our needs very quickly. This is in a great location, very close to Dublin, handy to the airport and train (Dart) with parking for for our cars. Also near some great walks and the beach is close by. Wished we could stay longer.

Summary: Our group was very comfortable and felt very much at home at the Sonas House. Paul was very helpful both prior to our arrival and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

Summary: The house was exactly as described. Clean, lots of space for 10 family members between 15 and 58 years. Our favorite place was the big wooden dining table, in the big kitchen and living space, where we had great meals, games , guinness and lots of laughs. The kitchen was well equiped. We really enjoyed our stay. All arrangements that needed to be made where quick and uncomplicated made by Paul. The location is great, its a short drive to airport or M 50 which takes you out to the wicklow mountains in a short drive. Cliffwalks in Howth and a quick ride on the nearby dart into Dublin City center are also easy to access. If we needed a house again for the number of peolple we would be happy to return.

Summary: A beautiful property which was well presented and clean so you could feel comfortable straight away. There is lots of room, so you can choose to be together or spend time on your own. A short walk away are many take aways and a great wine shop, so it is perfect for a relaxed evening in.
