Positive: Cottage nice area nice very clean excellent place to walk dogs local to shops and take aways generally a good location
Negative: Firstly, when booking, it's unclear what you get until you actually get there as all the photos and descriptions are for both the cottages. So on arrival we were so disappointed with the outside facilities. The really small area you have backs on to the neighbouring property where there is a large window where we were overlooked by the neighbours in the other property when sat outside. We were very lucky to get glorious weather but unfortunately at 2pm we were in shade. While sitting outside we had 2 plastic chairs and nothing to put a drink on. We are outside people and love to relax in the garden but unfortunately we couldn't here because of the privacy issue and losing the sun early afternoon. This then leads us on to the locked internal door in kitchen/living room to where you could have access to neighbouring property you can hear everything from next door and we were unlucky enough to have children screaming, shouting and running up and down which kids do. The outdoor lighting was only accessible from the main cottage so if we had wanted to sit outside on a night it was impossible. On the last night the neighbours put on the lights but must have forgotten about them as they were on till really late. The lights shone into the bedroom as the blinds aren't enough to keep it dark and it was really light on a morning in the room. As a minor a full length mirror in the bedroom would have been nice. This review is based on cottage number 2 and we can honestly say if we had rented the large cottage we would have had everything we wanted. The garden was just too small for our needs. The description for the cottages needs to be clear of what you get. That being said the cottage is beautiful.

Positive: Bright and roomy. Comfortable bed, excelleny bathroom and kitc henette with open plan lounge. Vary small area outside well fenced for sitting/ dog. Coffee machi e. Dog paddock.
Negative: A few extra kitchen items bowl/basin casserole an d bedroom chest of drawers for longer stays

Positive: This is the perfect place to stay with a dog, plenty of space, very well kitted out and a huge secure field directly behind for dogs. We even booked an hour on the outside agility course - a bit rusty but great fun!

Positive: The property was spectacular, very spacious and excellent facilities. Two fenced gardens and a large field ( shared) if you have dog with you.

Positive: Lovely location very rural, great place for dogs. Secure gated property, plenty of parking. Very comfortable and large bed in the main bedroom. Good size bathroom with a walk in shower.
Negative: Kitchen could have been cleaner, hob had to be cleaned before use. Cooker was not turned on upon arrival instigating a google search and crash course in setting up the clock before it would work. No instructions available for the cooker. When it was ready to go the self lighting did not work and there was nothing provided to light the gas. The basin in the bathroom had a faulty plug. Couldn’t fill the basin. No spatula in the kitchen. No wine glasses
Summary: A few niggles but on the whole a nice place to stay.
