You will love the amazing view that surrounds ' A Glimpse of Heaven '. Whether you are on the upper deck in the private bubbling hot tub overlooking the mountains or relaxing in the porch swing on the lower deck, the 40+ mile, wide open view is guaranteed to take your breath away.
If you just want to relax we have all the conveniences of home, but surrounded with a ' real ' cabin atmosphere. It's a great place for couples or family vacations. The game room has something for everyone. From the classic arcade-style PacMan /Galaga game system to the full size pool table and the digital pinball machine, family members of all ages will be entertained for hours.
The fully stocked kitchen has a 12 cup/single serve Keurig coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of pots, pans and lots of utensils. There’s also a stackable washer/dryer. The main living area includes a gas fireplace, a 50' LG Plasma HDTV with sound bar. The master bedroom has a California King Bed, a 32” flat screen plasma HDTV and the master bathroom includes a stand up shower spa. Upstairs is a classic arcade-style Pacman/Galaga game with 9 additional games, a digital pinball machine and pool table, a 42” flat screen plasma HDTV and an AM/FM radio/CD player. There’s a queen bed and futon. Off the bedroom is a large bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. The upper deck has a hot tub with an incredible view of the mountains and rocking chairs. The lower deck has a swing and rockers as well. There's a charcoal grill, picnic table and outdoor swing located just outside the cabin. This area is perfect for the kids to play while you relax in the swing. The outdoor lighting (color of your choice) will brighten the evenings overlooking the mountains.
We have tried our very best to equip our cabin with everything one could possibly need. The views are absolutely beautiful. There is no way pictures come any where close to showing the magnificent beauty of GOD'S creation from either of the two decks. That's where we get the name 'A Glimpse of Heaven'. Summary: This is a beautiful place to stay. We have stayed twice at this cabin. The view is amazing. We bring an ATV trailer and the parking is perfect, as this is the last cabin on the road and we have enough room for everything. We love the upstairs game room and the whirlpool tub. All the rooms are laid out nicely. With all the windows you just can't help but enjoy the view of the smoky mountains. We will most likely stay here again when we return. The owner is always very accommodating!

Summary: First and foremost, Tim is by far the kindest, most helpful property manager I have ever interacted with in all my vacation stays combined. I reached out when we landed in Nashville and asked if it was possible to do an early check-in which he ended up being able to honor, even though we ended up not getting to take advantage of it. I really appreciate it, regardless! The cabin is just like the pics. The views are insane - you get a panoramic view of the sky when you drink your coffee, play pool, sit in the hot tub, etc. It was truly unreal and I miss it already. The ONLY two minor items I personally feel could have made the stay that much better are more comfortable pillows in the downstairs bedroom. I ended up swapping mine out for the decorative pillow because the other ones meant for sleeping are extremely thick and way too firm for my liking. Aside from that, an oscillating fan for some white noise would have been nice since the fan on the ceiling is very noisy when turned on. That being said, those items would not change my decision to return in the future, just a few small items that I think are helpful to know. Summary: Couldn’t ask for more when it comes to views! Loved waking up and seeing the sunrise every morning over the mountains! My kids had a blast! Even in the cold there was plenty to do between the games, the hot tub, the jetted bath tub, and going out to site see. Would recommend!.
