Summary: Wonderful week on Peggotty Beach! The house was perfect for our group - 5 adults and 5 kids ages 3-11. This house is right on a sandy beach and has everything you will need for a week on the water! It came with all the beach gear you need for hours of entertainment. And it also has a very well stocked kitchen that we made good use of! This house is perfectly situated for watching sunsets and sunrises and there was a lot of outdoor seating areas on the porch. The beach is next to a public beach but few people made it down to our area so it felt quite private. The location to town is great and we appreciated the bikes to get around. All said this was an excellent family vacation house for all ages! Communication with the host was excellent as well and the house felt cool and comfortable all week. Thank you for sharing your home!

Summary: This gorgeous house lives up to the listing. Perfect for a family gathering. The view is spectacular, the house is spacious and clean, and the location is uncrowded. We loved walking into town for morning coffee and shopping. We cooked up feasts on most nights---the kitchen has all the amenities for a master chef! There are 4 sitting areas on the porch each with a fire table so you never felt crowded even with 11 people in the house. The many windows made for gorgeous views from anywhere in the house. The only con to that is not all windows have coverings so bring a sleep mask for sure if you aren't an early riser. I would definitely rent this house again. To heck with the crowded Cape and it's trafficky bridge when you can have this oasis in Scituate!

Summary: Everything was great. Hosts were awesome (greeted us at checkin to give us tour, very responsive throughout). Bikes/kayaks, etc were great. Location in Scituate is great (short bike ride or walk to Scituate Harbor). Could not have asked for anything more.

Summary: Super easy dealing with renters. Great welcome and tour of facility. Will definitely consider for next year. House was pristine, and Scituate is a gem being so close to Boston.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this home and brought only our clothes- everything else was there. We used the kayaks, paddle boards and bikes every day and there were plenty of them! The home is beautiful with an amazing view, comfortable gathering places, new outdoor furniture and gas firepits, and a kitchen with everything you'll need. Owners were lovely too!

Summary: The entire experience with this Peggotty Beach House was wonderful. House was spacious, clean and everything as advertised. Hosts were accessible and super responsive. We relaxed on the various decks, on the beach and in all sorts of comfy spaces inside. A 5 + rating for sure!

Summary: What a wonderful vacation! This house was fully stocked with everything you would need for a family vacation. They also provided plenty of beach chairs, towels, toys, kayaks, etc. everything you need to enjoy time on the beach. There were 12 in our party and there was plenty for everyone, both inside and out. What a relaxing time with our kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for a family dinner at the table and then the kids (and adults) enjoyed smores around the fire pit! And Sara was very responsive when I had questions. Steps to the beach on one side and the marsh on the other, I would highly recommend this property. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.

Summary: This house has it all. We fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, hiked! We drank in the beach side sunrise and moved over to the marsh side sunsets. The kitchen is a treat for people who like to cook. We baked many pies and lobster mac n cheese. Sarah our host was above and beyond kind and helpful. We hope to vacation here again.
