The Turret is a unique apartment with stylish contemporary interiors in a converted shoreside Victorian mansion on the outskirts of Oban, and enjoys panoramic views of Oban Harbour and the Sound of Kerrara. Please note that from 1st April to 31st October there is a 7 night minimum stay, from Saturday to Saturday. Outside this period the minimum stay is 3 nights, starting on any day of the week.
The generous open-plan living space includes a corner turret, as well as comfortable sitting and dining areas. Oak flooring makes this a light, airy space, reflecting the shimmer of the sea, and beautifully furnished in soft greys and whites with splashes of colour. It’s the perfect haven for relaxing days, watching the yachts and ferries sail by, and cosy evenings in front of the log burning stove. The well-equipped kitchen contains all you might need to make best use of the fabulous local produce on offer.
The luxurious bedrooms are both decorated in calming greys with crisp white linen, and the en-suite master bedroom features an indulgent window seat in the bay window, somewhere to curl up with your favourite book. The bathrooms are decorated to a high standard with walk-in showers.
Conveniently located on the outskirts of Oban on the west coast of Scotland, The Turret is a short drive (or half hour walk) from Oban town centre, where you will find the bustling harbour and several award-winning restaurants. There is outstanding scenery and many outdoor activities within easy reach.

Summary: The two of us spent a wonderful week in the serene Turret Apartment. This is a lovely renovated property, very bright, airy and comfortable;. Although a quiet, end-of-the-road setting it is mere minutes from vibrant Oban will fine restaurants and shopping. This location is ideal for visits to the islands of Iona, Mull and Staffa (and its delightful colony of Puffins!) as well as the stunning Hiighlands. The sea views from the cozy turret seating area beckons you to settle in for morning coffee and evening wine whilst enjoying sailing regattas and glorious sunsets. We highly recommend The Turret Apartment!

Summary: Beautiful located with a stunning view over the water is this appartment truely to recommend to people who love to escape from noise and like to be in nature. We enjoyed after getting back from our daily tours a nice cup of tea or coffee in the living-room and just looking out of the window. The appartment is well equiped with everything you need. We would love to come back!!!

Summary: We loved this flat , there are amazing views and it was so peaceful. There are some fabulous walks in the area and lovely to visit the islands too. Oban is only 25 minute walk and is a bustling town . We would definitely recommend you stay here

Summary: Beautiful furnished and comfortable apartment in a quiet location with amazing views. We sat in the bay window watching the boats and the views to Keera and Oban town centre. The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything you needed to self catering. We were left a lovely basket of goodies which was a lovely surprise. The parking is a great bonus. The owners were fantastic at communicating with us. They even text to say if we had arrived and everything was ok. They sent us lots of documents by email which was great in these COVID 19 times. We loved our stay here and wished we were staying longer it was so relaxing. I highly recommend this apartment.

Summary: We've just returned from a week at The Turret, feeling totally relaxed. The apartment is amazing, the view from the Turret is breathtaking and ideal for watching the world go by. Sleep quality was superb, comfy bed and no light pollution on road noise, really important factors when going away to relax and unwind. Suzanne and Mark were really attentive and the property was spotlessly clean. All the fixtures, fittings and inventory were of excellent quality. Would love to revisit the Turret but with so many other beautiful places to visit in the world who knows if we will make it back. Highly recommended - thank you!
