Positive: If you want to be in the middle of Mons nightlife, this is the place for you. It feels secure with the slightly hidden door and the lockbox for the keys. The location is 1 block off of the Grand Place and there are many pubs and restaurants around. The apartment was plenty big enough for our family of 3 and the dog was welcome, too. In the morning, we were able to easily walk around the corner for a pastry and coffee.
Negative: We arrived later than expected and the garage that was earlier stated that we could use was not open. We had to park on the road, which didn't feel as secure as the garage. I did text the host when we got in around 1130 and asked about it. When first opening the door, you are met with about 22, very steep, stairs. At the top of those stairs, to get to our apartment, we had another 25 very steep, winding stairs to climb before the apartment. I might have misread the location booking, but the stairs were very steep and did not feel safe with a dog and baggage. We were booked to stay 3 nights and were only left with a half roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls to be found anywhere. While being in the middle of downtown would have been great when we were younger, at this point in our lives, sleep is better than partying and the crowds were loud and rowdy until 3am or later. With no fan or a/c (the listing did mention having a fan but not a/c) to circulate the air, it was almost necessary to have windows open on a hot night. Needless to say, the family did not sleep much. That next morning, after 1 night of a 3 night stay, I contacted the host at 0849 and let them know we would be leaving early to find something more suited for family and a dog. The host never responded, even now 5 days later. While we did cancel the reservation early and didn't really expect a refund, we did expect a response from the host.
Summary: If you like the nightlife, this is the place for you.

Positive: Good place, but have lot stairs not recommendet for old people where cant go up using stairs
Negative: no security in front of the property i lock down my e-scooter, and has been stolen locker was broken :( 600 euro, so becareful dont keep staff out side
