Summary:
Experience beauty inside and out at Twilight Point. This modern cabin is part of Wilder's beautiful 40 acres and situated just 10 minutes from Hocking Hills State park. The property is nestled amongst the trees of Wilder's private woods, which is lined with hiking trails. It features a hot tub, king bed, coffee/tea bar, fire pit, and selection of board games. Come unwind, disconnect from distractions, and reconnect to what matters in the stillness and beauty of the wilderness.
The Space:
The 450 sq ft. Twilight Point cabin is a modern oasis, complete with a bedroom with a king bed and room darkening blinds, full bathroom with shower, and an open concept living room, dining room and a fully stocked kitchen. Large windows in the living room and bedroom look out onto a private deck, hot tub, fire pit, and of course, the tranquil woods and trails of the Wilder property.
Twilight Point was uniquely designed by Canadian designer Jane Fitch of Light and Dwell design firm.
Guest Access:
Entire modern cabin, deck, hot tub, private fire pit. The 40 acres and trails of the Wilder property is shared with the rest of the Wilder collection of 10 uniquely designed modern cabins.
The Neighborhood:
Nestled on 40 acres in the rolling hills of Vinton County, OH just minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, Wilder is close to it all while appearing to be a thousand miles away.
On the property you'll find parking for your car (one per reservation), plenty of space to hike along the property trails, relax on a chaise while roasting s'mores, and forest bath in a hot tub while listening to the sound of nature.
Off the property you'll find that Wilder is perfectly situated only 10-15 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, Logan, Lake Hope, and Zaleski State Forest. Within these areas you'll find ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, bird watching, horse back trail riding, ATVing, zip lining, and more! It's a nature-lover's paradise and all located within a short drive of Wilder.
Other Things to Note:
We are in the process of getting Wi-Fi extended to all cabins.
We have limited cell reception. All carriers do receive signal at the ridge along the main path in our property, where this cabin is located. Most guests have enough signal from inside this cabin to receive and make calls and texts.
There is a charcoal grill on the deck, which you will need to bring charcoal for. We have grill tools supplied in the kitchen. We also have a fire pit, and wood on site near parking for $10 a bundle. All proceeds go to the Boy Scouts who supply our wood.
We do allow pets in this cabin for a $25 fee. We ask that they be kept off all furniture including the couch and have their own blanket/bed to sleep on. Dog hair is especially hard to get rid of so if there is excessive hair on the furniture we will charge an additional $25 cleaning fee after the stay.

Keyless entry with a unique code generated for each guest will be shared via text/email prior to your arrival.
Upon booking and again 3 days prior to your arrival you will receive a link to a digital guidebook with all of the information you'll need to have a great stay! The digital guidebook will include information on the cottage, property, nearby areas of interest, fun activities, and other helpful tips.

Summary: The Cabins at Wilder is a community of tiny houses with great style & thoughtful touches. Each cabin feels very private with gorgeous views facing lovely wooded lots. The kitchen at Twilight Point was well appointed, perfect to cook for two. Very comfy bed & perfectly sized bathroom. The addition of the two person hot tub made for a very relaxing stay.

Summary: As a person who’s not into the “cabin” aesthetic of most places in Hocking Hills, this was a PERFECT property. Relaxing in the woods in a more up-to-date cabin was just what the doctor ordered! Highly recommended!!

Summary: Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at the Wilder property for 3 nights. It is the perfect place to stay to explore Hocking Hills and do some hiking. The cabin is located at the top of the hill, but the owner does a great job preparing you (warning you!) that the climb is steep. We had no issues, but some could find it hard to get items up to the cabin if you have a lot of stuff. The owner communicates well all the necessary information ahead of your stay. You do not get internet, so be prepared with door code and directions ahead of time. Also make note that you likely won't be able to see messages from the owner during your stay or be able to make contact yourself, because of no internet. You can go to the Hocking Hills Lodge to get internet, if needed. The cabin could have been cleaned better. The shelving in the kitchen was pretty dusty and the floors had dirt in the corners from prior guests. The cabin just needs a deep clean to be as good as new. Bedding for both the king and pull out were clean. We only received (2) sets of towels even though we booked for (4) people. Extra towels and more than one roll of toilet paper would have been nice. Tip - Hot tub needs to be heated up with the cover on to reach 100+ degrees. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary essentials. The property was absolutely beautiful. They are building additional cabins on the property, but we were never disturbed by workers. The property was very quiet and peaceful!

Summary: Nice location away from traffic. The hot tub was a wonderful amenity after a long day hiking! The home could have been cleaner, (the duvet had some very questionable stains on it, the floors had sand/dirt in most corners, the toilet plunger was sitting on the floor which is quite gross, and the house smelled like a musty refrigerator). Aside from cleanliness, everything else went very well and we had no other complaints. I would include in the description that tenants be prepared to climb a hill for this spot, but the climb is worth it since it is more private.

Summary: My husband, my dog & I stayed here for 2 nights as a short getaway. We visited Ash Cave which was a short drive. We also went to OU to get some food & beer which was also close by. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us & our dog. The large windows were great, we felt like we were in a treehouse. Watching the snow was beautiful! This cabin is at the top of the hill which was nice for seclusion but the climb is pretty steep for lugging your stuff up, even with the wagons. It would be nice if parking was available at the top. Other than that we had a great time!

Summary: We had a few hickups initially, but at no fault of the host, it was just a glitch in Vrbo's system (which is why I will be using air b&b for the next booking). That said, the host made sure to get things switched around as quick as possible and accommodate us. The tiny homes are beautiful, very private and cozy. I'd trade my little 800 sq ft home for one of these little 400 sq foot homes easily lol. We hiked alot at Hocking Hills over our 3 day 2 night stay, and it was so nice to have a place to come 'home too'. We had a great trip. We most certainly will be back.

Summary: We loved everything about Twilight Point at Wilder including the privacy, the architecture and decor. It was the perfect size for our family of 3 and one dog. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation hiking at Hocking Hills. It was about 10 miles to Ash Cave from the cabin. We used the owners recommendations for places to eat in Logan and were very pleased. We look forward to returning someday to enjoy another season of hikes in the area. Amenities we used include the hot tub, the fire pit, the microwave, keurig, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, and hairdryer. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The couch turned into an extra bed. We really appreciated the rolling carts to help us get our luggage up the hill into the cabin.
