I myself live with my two chihuahuas in the house, have a private room and the offered rooms are on a separate (other) floor with a separate entrance and bathroom, only the kitchen is shared.

Summary: Mahmood is a wonderful and welcoming host. He was very warm in welcoming us into his home and we enjoyed getting to know him during our trip. His home is exquisitely decorated and very clean and comfortable. Blankense is a nicer neighborhood within Hamburg with quaint city center, markets, and bakeries nearby! I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Summary: We had the 2nd (by US counting) floor (sleeping, bath, closet and desk) to ourselves. And also were able to us washing machine and kitchen. Our host met us curb side and helped us in with luggage, including taking it upstairs. We had several opportunities to talk with him which made this feel more like staying with a friend. The home is about 10 minutes walk from the S Bahn and 30 minutes from the Hamburg main train station. If you buy an all day ticket, you can use all of the public transport. If you have a car, you can park it at the host's home. A very enjoyable stay.
