Summary: Pros: Hemos estado en la chalet, ha sido un lujo. Lo hemos pasado muy bien, la casa está totalmente reformada y con todos los detalles posibles. Muy cerca de la playa, sin vecinos, piscina, etc... y unas vistas de la costa de Africa increibles. Cerca de Zahara de los atunes. Casa muy recomendable, sin duda, para repetir. Saludos.

Summary: Pros: What a splendid villa- the family owned property is fabulous and the owners have gone out of their way to ensure every comfort has been thought of. The villa is extremely well maintained and there are lots of little surprises that contribute to a great welcome and enjoyment of my stay. Def will go there again.

Summary: Pros: La Villa La Cascada no puede ser más bonita, cómoda y estar mejor situada. La propiedad en todo momento está pendiente de que se disfrute de la casa y no falte se nada. La villa está muy cerca de la playa y las vistas son las mejores de toda la cala. Desde luego volveremos a disfrutar de ese trocito de paraíso..!!!!

Summary: Pros: This house is among the most beautiful houses I ever rented. Fantastic view over the Atlantic sea, calm and lovely surrandings. Everything was in perefct order and its the most relaxing vacation we ever hade.

Summary: Pros: We spent 10 days, 5 days enjoying beach pool and ocean, and another 5 days - sightseeing. Very good location - 10 minutes walk to fantastic empty beach (end of Sept - beginning of October), and having a car within 1-2hours you can reach almost all places in Andalusia. House very nice, clean, very well equipped. Our host very friendly and helpful. Fast stable Internet - so everybody can have whatever wants. Only problem Zahara de los Atunes is almost deserted from 1st of October. If you like noise you have to come in September latest.

Summary: Pros: The home is more beautiful than the photos depict. The garden is rather large, very interesting with many things for the children to do, beyond swimming. The property is gated, very safe (the neighbourhood is very safe, too!). Very thoughtfully done. The view is stunning. The house is well-designed and a lovely opportunity to stay in a home with traditional Spanish architecture. Our hosts could not have been kinder. We arrived much later than promised, and they patiently waited for us and took the time to show us all of the features and considerations about the house. Everything worked well. We are very pleased with our experience and would recommend others to stay there.

Summary: Pros: La Cascada is situated midway up the hillside of Atlanterra, with a fantastic view of the beach 10 mins on foot from the house (approx 15 mins return due to uphill climb). The southwest facing pool and terrace have sunshine throughout the day. The pool is a good size. The outdoor amenities are great: 5 sun loungers, outdoor shower, masonry BBQ adjoining a sink with running water, nice outdoor dining area with a marble table. The house itself is as depicted on www.spain-holiday.com website; i.e. spacious, rustic, with a lot of charm. We felt very much at home (unusually so for a rental property), reflecting the labour of love that the owner, Mr. Herrero, has invested in the property. He is a genuinely nice man, always true to his word, who went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. We don't speak Spanish but were able to communicate just fine via email. The property's Wi-Fi is good quality, reaches the pool area. The grounds of La Cascada are quite something, akin to a terraced botanical garden with palms, lemon trees, lime trees and beautiful flowers. The pool area is shielded from view of nearby properties. The house doesn't have AC, which concerned us somewhat before we arrived. As it turns out, however, the evening sea breeze and screen windows yield comfortable night temperatures. An added benefit is that you can hear the Atlantic swell rolling in on the beach below as you drift off to sleep. Thank you, Mr. Herrero. We had a wonderful holiday at La Cascada!

Summary: Pros: We have stayed a couple of times in Atlanterra and this charming, authentically Spanish and very practical villa has been our favourite location so far. Jose Maria has made the house feel comfortable and he is incredibly welcoming. I appreciated the slightly retro 1970s decor! The house is well equipped (so much in the kitchen to use and the built in BBQ is excellent) that it makes it easy to relax and be lazy, never really wanting to leave apart from for an occasional beach day (just a small walk away, although the quickest route is currently marred by a very boggy/slippery overspill of water from the mountain—nothing that is the villa owner’s fault) or for some delicious food in Zahara. It’s easy to drive to in comparison to some of the villas higher up in Atlanterra but still has a spectacular view, and I would say the pictures almost don’t do the property justice! If you have more than one car there is a smaller parking space outside the villa as well as a driveway, but it can get a little tight with the neighbouring villas’ cars. All in all, a wonderful trip and we will book again next year. Thank you!
