Summary: We stayed in the Schoolhouse Room at Lydia Mountain Lodge and absolutely loved it! The room was so clean and cute, with a beautiful view that made our stay extra relaxing. The lodge itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the restaurant was wonderful — great food and excellent service from start to finish. The only downside was that the website listed the room as having two queen-size beds, but they were actually full-size beds. Other than that small detail, everything was perfect. We’d definitely stay here again!

Summary: This was our first stay at Lydia’s Lodge. It definitely won’t be our last. It’s quite nice. The Schoolhouse room is ok. The beds, bath and deck were great. We had an issue with the front door not locking. I went to the front desk, but no one was there. So we lived with it. The indoor seating could be improved. There are 3 schoolroom-like hardwood chairs. These aren’t necessary to enhance the “schoolhouse” motive. A couch or a couple of comfortable chairs would be appreciated. The restaurant (Bearrr Appetit) was great. We had dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious. We’ll be back.
