A brand new renovation including a new kitchen, floors, heating and cooling, a European style bathroom with in-floor heating, and a separate toilet highlights this perfectly located Ballarat Terrace house.
The property offers open plan living, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and separate meals area, and new carpet throughout. All bedrooms are complete with built-in robes. A small enclosed paved courtyard with outdoor dining and access to 2 car parks is also included.
Keypad automatic access is included and provides simple contactless ease of access for all guests.
This property is more central than central and is two blocks from major Ballarat attractions, including the art gallery, Her Majesty's Theatre, cafes, and restaurants. approx. 2km walk to the Ballarat hospitals and 2.5 km walk to wonderful Lake Wendouree.

Bedroom 1 is a king bed. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed. Bedroom 3 features two single beds. All beds and mattresses are new and exceptionally comfortable.

Summary: I stayed at Lydiard Terrace for 7 nights with my tween and teen daughters. The terrace house was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the effective heating for our week-long July stay. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed which allowed us to prepare some of our meals. The beds were warm and comfy.

Summary: There were 3 adults staying. We each got our own room and a very comfy bed. The kitchen/living is modern and a comfortable, with plenty of room to relax or eat. Very modern bathroom, with a walk in shower. Very impressive bath. The rest of the house is a beautiful, federation building that is very well maintained. There only upgate is the central heating, which was appreciated, in winter, in Ballarat. Very happy with this place. I would highly recommend it.

Summary: We stayed at Lydiard Terrace for a month and really enjoyed our time. The cottage had everything we needed as well as being warm and cosy even during the coldest weather. It’s within easy walking distance of the CBD, plus there are some great restaurants, coffee shops and pubs nearby. Chris’s communication with us was excellent and he responded quickly on the couple of occasions where we needed some assistance. All-in-all, the cottage is great value and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone visiting Ballarat.

Summary: Family from both South Australia and New South Wales arrived for a 21st birthday in Ballarat to a warm welcome at Lydiard Terrace. Fresh flowers, chocolates and warm comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms were all a highlight. As was the location in ease of access to places to eat, the station and Sturt Street. Thank you for hosting the family and providing a welcoming home away from home for them for the week.

Summary: Came to Ballarat for a month for a University placement and we couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay. The house had everything we needed and was located right next to a lovely cafe as well as a 5 minute walk to Sturt street. Chris and Belinda were excelled hosts, and we would stay there again any day!
