Negative: The tanning beds get taken very quickly so u have to be early in the pool

Positive: We liked the layout and architecture, the rain shower head was great too and also where our room was located we had a great view of the beach and the mountains. The gym was great, all the restaurants were amazing except the Thymari Taverna. The steakhouse was fabulous.

Negative: Thymari Taverna should have way more authentic Greek dishes. We found that there was more Greek food in the main buffet than at the Thymari Taverna. The property itself is great. The housekeeping though was not very good, every day they missed something. One day they forgot to refill the coffee station, another day they didn’t replace all of the towels so we ended up only having 2 towels. Another day they forgot to take the bathroom trash, which was a bigger deal since you’re not allowed to flush toilet paper. The housekeeping staff needs to be trained more and it would help a bit if they could understand English a bit more.

Positive: The staff were really friendly. The bar staff were also very nice. The Albanian lady, whose name I forgot, was super friendly, kind, and very attentive to our orders and service. The show at night was enjoyable.

Negative: Housekeeping throughout the hotel was generally very good and clean. But Unfortunately, there were stains all over the bed sheets.

Negative: Seafood grill in the greek taverna was either overcooked (burned) or undercooked. The person responsible for the grill was very rude and not an adequate person as it was impossible even to explain him what you want or what is wrong

Positive: The food was great, the grounds were well cared for and clean. The lit-up fountains at night were so pretty and really set a vibe. The spa is incredible. Highly recommend!

Negative: We were there late in the season and didn’t realize that none of the outdoor pools are heated. Therefore they were freezing and unusable. Obviously, that’s not the resort’s fault but it was a little bit of a bummer. We were able to swim in the ocean (which was warmer than the pools!)

Positive: This hotel is really nice. Beautiful design and views and we had great times with the family. The food is exceptional where the main dining hall works to perfection - taste, diversity, high level of service - everything! I loved the kids activities and the overall layout with multiple pools and great beach access. Also there is a overall feeling of generosity with beverages being brought to the pools frequently and that goes a long way

Negative: This could be my top hotel in Crete if they improve their upkeep and cleanliness levels - I don’t think it is on par with the level of the hotel and it is starting to show in the rooms. Also - I know this will become an adult friendly hotel but still the construction is not safe enough - the pools are not protected in any way, the floor tiles all around the outdoor area are very slippery and I saw multiple kids and adults slip and fall, and there are many mini-steps which one can fall over Lastly, the SPA should make a jump to the next level- for an hotel at this level it is just amateur at the moment
