Summary: Really enjoyed the stay. We were in one of the new beach houses in the bay. Once there I finally realised the difference between cocoon and crystal (I think :-) Crystal is the last of the 18 houses and has one of the walls fully in glass as opposed to Cocoon that have standard walls. These new houses are simply beatiful - a perfect "love nest" - everything is nice even if we have to change room as the flush of our toilet wasn't working properly (really seamless swap - however I found the houses facing West - EVEN numbers - are better than the ones facing East, simply cause it's nice to chill on the patio and face the sunset. Breakfast has so many options and so has dinner (incl fresh grilled seafood). We didn't have a chance to test all the facilities but there is a tennis court and padel court, nice gym and a SPA. Pools are really nice and the beach beds are nicely spaced and plenty of shade to chill or sun to catch your tan. Overall a magic stay and would definitely get back

Summary: I’m still a little shocked at the room we were provided given the $300USD per night cost. It was in shambles. So out of date. Spiders and ants in the restroom. Crumbling walls. We decided to tough it out since we were there for one night and mainly to use the beach (which was very nice). But we have a 11 month old baby and when we got back from dinner there was a giant water bug or cockroach running around the bathroom. I couldn’t have my baby sleeping in a crib with so many bugs around. I was shocked they gave us this room, knowing we had an infant and putting us all the way at the end, where the sounds from the nightly hotel entertainment were audible. When I showed reception a video of the bug, they gave us a new room right away. This room was much nicer and perhaps more in line with the cost but I think the room is probably even more expensive than the $322 we paid. The dinner buffet was lovely. The beach is huge and clean. The pool is outdated, mocktail was watered down. I would not recommend this hotel for the price tag but not sure what the other option around Saly would be.

Summary: Beautiful beachfront property with lovely rooms. Breakfast was terrific, and staff are friendly and multi-lingual. Highly recommend. The downside is that it's a long haul from the airport through marginally safe streets. Make sure you have a good car and driver. Taxi service is pretty sketchy. The hotel would do well to have an airport shuttle.

Summary: the hotel as such is very nice perfect, but as a foreigner (not speaking French) it is difficult to communicate. Check in took long, and we had a sick child. We were misinformed, which resulted in additional cost, then it took us quite some time to correct it, the transfer requested was not there/ nor where the cost correctly shared which all gave lot of problems and stress at check out.

Summary: Overall the hotel is quite nice, the rooms are big and comfortable, the beach is really nice and the food is good. However there are a number of things that let it down, the service is utterly terrible - it takes forever and is hit and miss whether things arrive or not; the cocktails were terrible and not cheap; and the "entertainment" on an evening is mixed.
