Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Maayo villa, and it was truly a memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality. The villa was beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The spacious rooms, serene ambiance, and thoughtfully arranged interiors made us feel at home instantly. What truly made our stay special was the kindness and attentiveness of the owner Mr.Akalanka and his parents . They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and making us feel like family. One of the highlights was the delicious Sri Lankan food prepared for us- Authentic, flavorful, and made with love. From fragrant rice and curry to mouthwatering rotti, every meal was a delightful experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with outstanding service and an authentic Sri Lankan touch near Hikkaduwa, this villa is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this cozy place and were lucky enough to have the whole space to ourselves. The hosts, especially Mr. Akalanka, who looked after us throughout our stay, were incredibly kind. We arrived around midnight due to our work schedule, and they were so understanding, staying up until we checked in without a single complaint. Even at that hour, they offered us welcome drinks and towels to freshen up. The entire place is spotless, and the hosts really go the extra mile to ensure you're comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to check out early, but we made sure to enjoy the delicious English and Sri Lankan breakfast before leaving. I highly recommend this place for two or three people looking to stay and explore around Galle (Hikkaduwa). It’s a short, easy bus ride (15-20 minutes) to Hikkaduwa. They have a shared kitchen with a gas cooker, microwave, and kettle. The area is peaceful, offering a tranquil atmosphere to enjoy the beautiful garden surroundings.
Negative: Personally I don’t have much dislikes about this place Maybe can arrange some board/card games for groups who want to stay here , as you grow further maybe a pool would add a cherry on top

Positive: Our stay at the Maayo Property was phenomenal. We had a very relaxing night after a long flight from Australia to Sri Lanka. Having to experience the pure Sri Lankan Village experience as soon as we landed in Sri Lanka was the highlight of this stay. The host of the property “Chali” was very friendly and attentive and provided us with a relaxing experience. The rooms were well appointed and exceptionally spotless clean. Breakfast was delicious which we selected Sri Lankan Traditional Breakfast. We really recommend this place for anyone and will surely be back next time as well.
Negative: There’s nothing to complain about this property.
Summary: Excellent and comfortable Service provided by the host. And had a peaceful and relaxing stay.
