2 Bedroom House in East Mackay

Mackay, Town Beach House is fully self-contained making it ideal for short and long term stays.
Enjoy a BBQ out the back or simply relax and enjoy sitting in the recliner reading one of the many books on the bookshelf in the sunroom/entrance.
With a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining/living area, it is ideal for families wanting the option to cater meals for themselves.
Queen size bed in the spacious Master Brm, The 2nd Brm has a Double plus Single bunk and there is a sofa bed in the Study for an extra guest. For families staying with infants we provide a porta-cot, baby bath, high-chair and change table. There are two bathrooms, both with toilets and vanities, one with a shower and the other with a bath and a baby bath, ideal for families with little kids or anyone who wants to relax and soak in the tub after a long day at the beach. There are airconditioners in both bed rooms and living area.
The yard is fully fenced and secure making it ideal for the kids to enjoy playing in a safe area. The beach at the end of the street is only 500metres away and on a low tide you can walk for miles!

Centrally located, only a couple of minutes to Mackay CBD that is home to the cities entertainment and restaurant hub. Blue Water Lagoon, cafe's, cinema's, Caneland Central.
Conveniently located less than 5 minutes to the Mackay Airport, sporting facilities, showgrounds and the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre.
Situated in a great location for Expectant mothers and people utilising Mackay's Health facilities. Less than 10 minutes to both the Mackay Base and Matar Private Hospitals
A short stroll down the street to the beach, parks and playground. Bike and walking trails connect town beach to River walk. Convenience store, bottle shop and Take away only a couple of minutes away.
Reconnect with nature with day trips to Cape Hillsborough National Park and Eungella National Parks, do a dive near Keswick Island, a bit of fishing and don't forget your crab pots!

Summary: We stayed here over the long weekend, 2 adults, 3 teens and a small poodle, the place was clean and well equipped. Nice little touches like coffee pods was welcome. Overall would stay here again.

Summary: The house was great. Everything we needed for our stay. Getting the key was a bit difficult but I believe this has been fixed now. Would stay again and recommend to others. No internet, but it wasn't advertised as having internet. That was the only thing it was missing. Great stay!

Summary: The unit is very large with amazing views of the ocean. Plenty of room for a family. 2 nice sized bedrooms with bathrooms adjoining. 2 large gathering areas with sofas and chairs in each. Nice kitchen with dining area, and large balcony. It’s pricy but I would stay there again for sure. I would not really consider it a 4 star hotel because there is no restaurant, and there should be a better, more accessible (better selections and hours) gift shop in my opinion. But the pool side grills with actual chef on duty make up for the lack of restaurant, you just have to make a trip to the grocery store when your there and plan your meals.

Summary: The house location is excellent, a quick walk to the beach. The garden is large & fenced. However, the facilities were poor. On Christmas Eve we were planning a family BBQ-it was filthy with grease & food & generally dirty. The oven was dirty inside, frying pans were worn & food got stuck, toaster not cleaned out. Hot water so boiling you can’t use it - no warning. Shabby walls & furniture. Sofa covered in stains, shower screen with black mould. Dog next door digging under fence, a chair was shoved up against the fence but dog kept barking & digging. Gates difficult to manage, required lifting up - poorly maintained. We were really disappointed. This was our family Christmas, we all travelled a long way to be together, we had a great time together BUT the house was grimy, shabby, low quality furniture & kitchen-the fridge thermostat was broken so we had to throw away loads of food that got frozen-very unimpressed & feel ripped off.
