Summary: We booked an apartment - I think it was all that was available. It was a couple of hundred yards down the road in a separate building from the hotel and up 48 steps. No lift, no offers to help with luggage. Parking is on the road but problem free. The apartment was huge, clean and well maintained but the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (shower over bath) look like they were last updated in about 1971. The view from the small kitchen window was nice except for the tatty backyard. The little milk pods were so out of date they curdled. The bedroom was large and attractive. The bedding and towels were really good quality. I've knocked off a star because the mattress was saggy and uncomfortable. They don't seem to offer housekeeping in the apartments. We'd booked a deal including breakfast and this would not have been honoured if I hadn't pushed. The receptionist showed us the email from the hotel itself to prove we hadn't booked breakfast. Once I produced the hotel.com booking he backed down and showed no surprise. So I think this happens regularly and have your paperwork to hand. Breakfast was pretty good. The evening meal was excellent but expensive. No one asked if everything was ok on check out. I would go back to the hotel itself, but not to an apartment - they felt like an afte thought.

Summary: The room was clean but the lift to the various floors was a pain. Breakfast was a shambles. The staff did not pay attention to replenishing supplies and the kitchen was too overwhelmed to take our order for half an hour. The food at Bistro No.1 was very good and served effeciently.

Summary: All staff are so friendly, room was cosy and clean with a very comfortable bed. Had a great sleep. Great selection for breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Would reccommend.

Summary: Warm welcome and helpful staff. Parking is free on street. EV charging is in a tiny locked compound. Food in the restaurant very nice and breakfast good. Main problem is the bar area and stock. Buildup of debris in the unused restaurant door area.
