Summary: My daughter and her family, (husband and two young boys) stayed here for a few days to visit with us. It was a perfect, cozy place for them to stay, and for us to visit with the family. The owners provided simple, useful instructions and were always available but never intrusive. We were delighted with the house and the experience, and would recommend it for anyone travelling to the greater Jackson area.

Summary: Although the photos on the site are exactly accurate they don't quite fully convey the charm of this home. We have stayed in many rental properties in the US as well as several other countries but this is hands down the most thoroughly and thoughtfully equipped one ever. It is comfortably furnished and decorated with interesting art and decorative pieces. The owner turned on the heat , some lamps, porch lights and festive strung outside lights in anticipation of our arrival and the house was sparkling clean. There were plentiful towels, pillows, blankets and the nicest of cookware and appliances. The hostess thoughtfully provided fresh coffee beans, a coffee grinder and tea bags as well as a nicely stocked spice cabinet. Although we did not do any "from scratch" cooking, we had picked up a breakfast casserole and pastries from nearby Olivia's gourmet market that we baked for breakfast one morning. We didn't use them this trip but would use the nice washer, dryer and dishwasher on future trips. There were hairdryers in both bathrooms as well. There was even an outdoor heater on the back deck! The master bed and bedding was very comfortable and the black- out drapes were very welcome not only for blocking the morning sun but for lending extra insulation since we were there in extremely unseasonably cold weather due to a nationwide Arctic blast. The lighting was excellent in the home and we always enjoy having bedside and sofa-side reading lamps. Everything a visitor could need was there and the house had a huge fenced back yard (we had hoped to be able to play there with the grandchildren we were visiting in the area but with temperatures in the teens that wasn't in the cards. The screen porch and furnished side yard seating area as well as the nice grill will have to wait for another day! For anyone unfamiliar with the area (we are somewhat), there are shops and a couple of restaurants a stroll away and groceries, gas, etc. within a short drive. The area was very convenient to the interstate, too. The owner was very friendly and responsive to our questions and prompt to reply to our messages. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Summary: LOVED my stay at this lovely home! It was SUPER clean and comfortable. Future visitors may want to be sure to bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. For the owner: It’s definitely time for both shower curtains to be replaced. I couldn’t find an ironing board. And God bless whoever left that frozen pizza in the freezer. I had car trouble the first night and was so frazzled and overwhelmed and hungry and found that and it was a lifesaver! I love the property and would love to stay again in the future!
