I cannot believe that after all these years that VRBO is still a terrible platform! I charge 40% more here that on another "user friendly" platform. Maggie's Man Cave is NOT really a cave, it is a private suite in our basement with a separate driveway and entrance from the main home. You will hardly know there is a family living above you as you settle into this comfortable, modern and welcoming space - you will feel at home in this rural setting with easy access to I-44 and either Lebanon, Conway or Bennet Spring State Park. Feel free to relax in the suite or enjoy our 50 acres inclusive of a pond and woods with walking trails.
The space
If your stay is for more than a night your hosts can help point you in the direction food, fun, nature or city life. Close by there is an abundance of local charm including Boat Town Brewery, Hidden Waters Park and Coleman Conservation area! We hope we get the chance to meet you and if your stay is long enough we make a special effort to invite our guests to dinner (no pressure). Hope you stay with us soon!

50 Acres with a pond and wooded walking trails. These are not finished trails so they can be muddy! In the summer time we have a pool that may be accessible at times. Ask for special permission if this is important to you. In inclement weather you may ask to park in the basement garage that is adjacent to the suite.

Summary: My wife and I were in desperate need of a night away from home and this basement suite in the country was just what we needed! Cool, clean, cozy and well stocked, the care taken to make this place a great stay is obvious! My wife and I walked the awesome trails through the woods on the property which I highly recommend, (the frog pond was great!) and greatly enjoyed the humorous signs on the trees along the way! Only recommendation I would make to the owners would be some softer pillows for the bed and maybe a box-fan for white-noise lovers like my wife and I, but these details didn't detract from our stay at all! We loved every minute and are so grateful to the owners for hosting us at their awesome property! Thanks so much and would highly recommend this place!

Summary: Perfect for our one night stay. We had our puppy and were able to stay at a very affordable rate. We had an early baseball game, and this allowed us to not have such a crazy early morning. My son played baseball outside with the hosts’ son and his two friends. Property is beautiful. Will try to stay again if we have early morning tournaments locally again. Highly recommend.

Summary: Favorite lodging of my single lady five day cross country trek with little dog. Clean, quiet, safe and welcoming. Setting is Far enough away from highway so no noise but close enough for easy access; peaceful pastoral setting with mowed path in woods for dog walk. Kitchenette had plates and bowls to heat up dinner; comfy couch to stretch out on; linens clean and fresh. Easy parking right outside door. Interior space is larger than pictures show. Perfect combination for my needs. Will plan return route to be able to stay here again. Thank you to hosts for sharing this treasure with travelers!
