Positive: Where do I begin.... Maison 250 is a haven nestled in the beautiful streets of Essaouira. The breakfast area was beautifully furnished to a high standard, the building itself has been designed with such attention to detail - it's absolutely beautiful. As soon as I arrived I felt calm and relaxed, the place has a very easygoing and friendly vibe. The housekeeping staff were very lovely and the kitchen staff cooked delicious breakfast every morning. I'm still dreaming about the Berber omelettes - they must be tried!! I've tried recreating them at home and have quickly accepted my defeat! Chrissie and Craig, you were so welcoming from the moment we met you and this remained unchanged throughout our stay. Your hospitality was the best we've experienced for a long time and we could not recommend Maison 250 enough. Thank you Chrissie, Craig and the wonderful team who make Maison 250 the haven it is!

Positive: We had a fantastic time at Maison 250 - Chrissie & Craig were incredibly accommodating and we loved staying in such a newly-renovated, but anciently-built Riad. The breakfast was delicious and varied (the Berber omelette was a particular highlight) and the attention to detail in the rooms and around the Riad was brilliant. Communal tea and coffee facilities and the perfect post-beach djellabas (please email me when they are available for purchase - I mean it in each room were ace. Very clean and tidy with all round great vibes. Thank you!

Positive: Chrissie and Craig have crafted a well appointed oasis within the Medina where every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Restoring this beautiful building with love and care. They went to great lengths to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast is so delicious, with an emphasis on local and seasonal dishes. We slept incredibly well and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with views across the city. The breakout sofa spaces are a restful place to reflect/ read. The location of Maison 250 was perfect for our explorations, with everything in the surrounding area reachable on foot. Their restaurant recommendations were all fantastic. There is so much to see nearby, every turn of a corner presented us with another ‘wow’ moment. The architecture (a mix of old structures and contemporary sculptures), the art and artisan shops, the views (the crashing waves on the rocks were amazing), the harbour, the Medina itself, the old palace amongst the sand dunes, the sunsets and most importantly of all the friendly people we met. It is a city that has a laid back, welcoming vibe and we very much hope to return soon to enjoy it all again. Especially at Maison 250. Thank you to the whole team.

Positive: My partner and I had a brilliant stay at Maison 250. A beautiful riad within the medina. Gorgeous room, excellent facilities, including roof terrance and delicious breakfast. Chrissie and Criag were brilliant hosts, recommending activities, restaurants and organising transport for us. We are already waiting for the opportunity to return to this beautiful riad!
