Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We visited this place as a family of 3 with our 8 year old daughter. It's a beautiful house with a very private garden and pool. The owner is kind and helpful (albeit not super proficient in speaking English). It has excellent kitchen facilities and tons of space for the entire family. The pool was very clean and so was the rest of the house. The town of Fauverney is very quiet with not much going on but it's a very short drive to Dijon and especially the heart of the Burgundy wine area. In very short walking distance there was a nice playground and football (and basketball) field and a small river, where we spend a lot of the time throwing stones and skipping rocks.

Negative: For the price we paid, the place competes with luxury hotels, so there could have been better attention to the small details, such as the soap in one of the bathroom. No option of charging electrical vehicles.

Summary: Great place for rewinding and relaxing close to the heart of the Burgundy wine area
