Positive: Their house/BnB was absolutely beautiful. That alone was a fun cultural experience - seeing the house, the various floors and rooms, the terraces, dining areas, pool deck. It was just spectacular. And breakfast was amazing - a bountiful mix of fruit, pastries, juice and yogurt, along with eggs and crepes made to order, coffee or tea, cheese plates, and more. My room was large - lots of space to unpack and a lovely ensuite bathroom. I would absolutely stay here again. The family and staff were very kind and helpful. In fact, they offered free admission to their family's "Dar El Annabi" museum - a typical historic house (that takes up a city block.) It's furnished and appears ready to live in, complete with some wax figures of people in period dress. It was incredible - I walked through it twice! And nearby they gave me a wonderful recommendation for lunch: Au Bon Vieux Temps (great food, A/C, sea views). You have your own key to the house and your room, so you can come and go as you please, and if you need anything Taieb is just a message away (or around the house somewhere.) 10 out of 10!
Negative: No downside at all! Guests should know this is more like staying at a relative's house for the weekend than being at a boutique hotel. It's quiet and so charming. And while there may not be a "reception desk", there are staff around and emails/messages are answered right away.
Summary: It was a beautiful stay and rich cultural experience - I loved it!

Positive: Actually, there's not much to add beyond all the other reviews already available. The property is absolutely valid, and the attention to detail in every corner of the house is truly appreciated. I could go on about the terrace, the swimming pool, the breakfast, but everything has already been said by others. It is probably one of the best places we have stayed in recent years, so if you are looking for accommodation in this area, trust me, look no further and book this one. You will not be disappointed.
