Positive: Idyllic location with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Helpful and friendly staff team who went out of their way to be helpful and ensured we had an enjoyable stay. Rooms were clean, homely and comfortable.
Negative: Service was a bit slow and disjointed at times during breakfast but otherwise no issues or concerns.

Positive: My partner and I had a wonderful and super relaxing week during our stay at Maison de Lao Chai and we canโ€™t recommend than enough! If you are thinking about booking them because of the amazing view they have, trust us, they are waaaaay more than โ€˜โ€™justโ€™โ€™ a pretty (actually mind-blowing ๐Ÿ˜ฒ) view. Our room was incredible, and waking up hearing the little stream and birds was quite cool. They helped us booking a trekking tour and also they have a taxi driver who you can be in touch with to take you anywhere if needed (sapa town and etc). Their breakfast is delicious. Thanks Phin for the best cappuccino. Also, their menu for lunch and dinner cover a good range of options (we basically had almost all our meals there for the entire week). Big shot-out to Truong Le (thanks for the great conversations mate o/) and the whole team for always going above and beyond to help us out everyday. Everyone is super kind and you guys definitely made us feel like home. Guys, keep up the good work. We will definitely recommend you to everyone we know who is heading to Sapa. And if we ever go back there (hope so), for sure we know where we will stay again ๐Ÿซถ. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Positive: The hotel is beautifully located within Lao Chai valley with breathtaking views overlooking The Valley and rice paddies. Rooms were clean and spacious. We did a great day tour with their local tour manager Mai and had an amazing day.
Negative: Some staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Tuong. Others struggled with English and lacked a little care factor. Housekeeping was average. And the rooms are on a steep angle on the mountain. If you have bad knees ask for a room further up. Considering their room rates are quite reasonable the positives about this accomodation definitely outweigh my minor points of criticism above :)

Positive: Staff were great and very helpful, village trek organized through them was enjoyable and fairly priced; room was clean, lovely view (fog or not). Thank you for going out of your way to help us celebrate our anniversary!!
Negative: Bed was a rock but this seems to be the case everywhere in Vietnam, hot water supply was insufficient for the tub. Otherwise all good

Positive: Everything was superb! The location is remote but incredibly beautiful and you can enjoy stunning views from every room! The meals were incredibly delicious and freshly sourced from the garden on the property and each and every staff member was so helpful, kind and truly interested in making your stay fabulous.

Positive: Excellent location just a short trip to town but surrounded by the natural beauty of the rice terraces and valleys. Beautiful new property with high quality furnishings, privacy, quiet. Excellent food in the restaurant. The staff were all fantastic and a special shout out to the manager (name?) and one of the servers Phinh who really went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay.
Negative: The breakfast was decent but could be a little more elevated. The hot tub wasnโ€™t functional because the hot water ran out before it was full. Otherwise, nothing!
Summary: Definitely will not be disappointed here
