Positive: Our overnight stop was an absolutely beautiful 18th-century mansion, Maison de Plumes. The owner, Nicolas, looked after us so well that we seriously considered bundling him into the car and taking him on the rest of the trip. Nothing was too much trouble. We were thoroughly spoiled. There was even a piano for me to play! Superb dinner, comfy bed and delicious breakfast with an added ingredient - a hot tub - pure unadulterated joy. Highly recommended.
Negative: The shower wasn't the best.

Positive: Beautiful house just under an hours drive from tunnel. Bird themed decorated rooms. Comfortable bed and good shower. Big garden and a lounge to sit in. We had a lovely home cooked dinner outside. The host is very friendly and helpful
