Positive: The perfect home from home. So brilliantly located - we spent wonderful late afternoons/early evenings having drinks in the square with the kids running about making new friends. Could walk to everything from the house if needed. It’s really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking/washing/living. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The owner Anne is absolutely lovely and went out of her way to help us after we had an issue with our car which meant our travel plans had to completely change. She’s brilliant. A total hero! We were two families with three kids in total and the house worked so well for us all. Great socialising space and lots of bathrooms so no rush in the mornings! We came for some spring skiing and for the kids to start their skiing adventure (would highly recommend ZigZag ski school.. definitely the best option in Samoens) and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I adored visiting the Wednesday morning market and cooking up a feast in the great kitchen with all the goodies I bought. There is also a really lovely vegetable shop in the square with some other basics and a few small supermarkets within very easy walking distance. I read one review that said it was tricky to get from the house to ski school on time without a car. We found it very easy. Simply catch the 08:29 blue bus from outside the cinema (5 mins walk to the bus stop) and get off at the GME lift. We left our skis and boots at Xtreme Glisse by the GME lift each day where they have heated boots storage. So that you don’t have to carry them to and fro. This worked really well for us and still allowed plenty of time to get to 1600m for 09:15 for the start of ski school, even whilst wrangling 2 toddlers and a 9yr old into their kit! We hope to be back to stay here again and again.
Negative: There was nothing at all that we didn’t like. It worked so well for us.

Positive: Lovely house that was perfect for families with excellent location in the heart of the village. Heated floors downstairs were lovely on the feet . House over all was heated adequately. The rooms were all a good size . The beds were comfortable. There are lots of board games and books in the lounge . Wine and cheese on arrival was a lovely gesture. Cleaning and dishwasher tablets in the cupboards and lots of other essentials too .
Negative: The house was a bit tricky to find because it's up narrow side street, but you can park your car by the front door . The large bedroom upstairs had an air vent behind the bed, which released a bad smell of drains . Not all the time, just when someone flushed a toilet. I think it was fixed by the end of the week, but I'm not sure as I caught a cold. Also, downstairs shower wouldn't drain properly . So, you had to make sure your shower was fast or risk flooding the room . Overall, it was a great holiday so don't let that put you off as im sure it's sorted now .

Positive: Fantastic location and well-equipped chalet for our family of 6. We are planning to book again. Lovely owner who was very welcoming and helped us feel relaxed. Book it, you won't regret it! We have stayed in Samoens many times for family ski holidays and this has been the best chalet in terms of space and location.

Positive: In a great location for the pretty town. Spacious and well equipped for a group of 10 people.
Negative: There wasn't anyone to meet us so we just let ourselves in! Would have liked some information on where to park. The buses don't seem to run in time to get up the mountain for ski lessons so we drove to the gondola which was easy. Needed bigger bin bags.
Summary: Pretty alpine chalet in a nice part of town, spacious and well equipped for 10 guests.

Positive: this is such a gorgeous, spacious house, perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids) very clean and beautifully furnished with everything you need available. Comfortable beds too! Situated right behind the church on the square, ideally located for the town and all the amenities but also very quiet too.
