Summary: Warning: No Elevators and Over 20 steep stairs just get to the reception, then another 20 stairs to get to your room! This should have been posted and they do get complaints but don’t publish this because people would not book. We were lucky at arrival and had a lovely young lady to help us with the luggage to our room and we were not so lucky on checkout, the young girl did not want to provide help and did not have anyone designated available. The design is amazing, but not functional. Open shower without a door so the water pours out and it’s exposed glass shower with soap/shampoo dispensers and removable shower head mounted at level bellow the the waist of an average person. No tables to place a breakfast tray on (breakfast was nice and simple). Only one towel hook, so nowhere to hang more than one towel. Nice robes, bedding. Very dark, lighting is cool but does not allow you to see much. Milk frother provided, but not milk?? Looks good but not functional really. Design over function and the intentional hiding the fact that there are over 40 steep steps and No Elevator is a huge issue. So if you are one person with a tiny suitcase or a back pack and need aerobic workout- this is a nice hotel.

Summary: We arrived with our puppy, who hadn’t travelled much yet in his life, and we were greeted with belly rubs (well, we weren’t but HE was!), a dog bed and bowls in the room and a beautiful room! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Julie on our first day (she was AMAZING!). We will FOR SURE be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: This has to be the most beautiful hotel I’ve been to. It literally surpasses Montreal’s 5 star hotels. The room is spotless, the hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff is friendly and the location is very convenient.

Summary: We had a fantastic overnight stay at Maison Grinder. The hotel was very clean, aesthetically pleasing and smelled wonderful! Staff were very friendly and helpful and the small amenities in our room were a nice touch! Would 100% stay here again.

Summary: Room was spotless, chic and the bed was incredibly comfortable! We had a glitch or two, but the front desk team was quick to spring into action and fix it. All in all a WONDERFUL stay. Taking one star off because of issue with "valet parking". We self parked, were leaving early and were approached and told (by valet team) that we could not park where we did. Trusting them, we handed them our keys and went inside. Well, the car stayed right where we parked it - all night long! If that's the case, build the fee into the room, I wouldn't have cared as the room was lovely, but instead we paid for valet service that never touched our car.

Summary: The room was clean , and had all the necessary amenities . The room on the main floor beside the front desk is very poorly sound proofed , so we were able to hear everyone coming in and out , but helped to have the speaker on in the room . The shower is lovely , the bed is very comfy. Staff was lovely
