Positive: Beautiful villa, spotlessly clean and meticulously tended garden and pool. Fully equipped with all that you could need. We stayed with 2 teenage kids so they had their own room each and the wifi was good (although not out by pool but that is to be expected). Main bedroom was so dark with shuttered doors we slept amazingly! Aziz always sprung up to open the gate when we left and came home, and tended to the pool every morning and evening. Fatima also cooked a tagine, cous cous and salad for us one evening. But we ordered just 2 tagine/cous cous for 4 people and it was enough to feed 6-8 people! It's a short (10-15 min?) drive to Essaouira, not much else in between but makes it super quiet and peaceful. Ocean Vagabond is great beach restaurant on the way. Can also recommend Essaouria Buggys across the dunes and a hammam in Essaouria. Bring an extra suitcase for the purchases you would like to buy!
Negative: The pool was heated but it still felt a bit chilly, but we asked Aziz to turn it up which I think he did (and the sun came out a little more!). The hot water is a bit iffy and low pressure so we could only shower one at a time, and often it would turn cold midway through. The entrance/track up to the property is not easy to find, especially in the dark so it would be super helpful to have some kind of sign or distinguishing feature (giant urn?!) so you knew where to turn in! Beware speeding on the N1 road as police checking most days! Also sad not to seem to be able to recycle our rubbish, especially after seeing the plastic debris out on some of the deserted sand dunes :( But these are all small points which did not affect us having a WONDERFUL stay here. :)

Positive: We absolutely loved the villa, it was tranquil, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. There were lots of lovely places to sit. The breakfast provided on arrival was great. Fatima also made us a lamb tagine one night which was superb, it came with a huge salad and fruit salad for dessert. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was exceptional, it was large, a lovely temperature and had nice loungers and umbrellas. The gardens were beautiful. Aziz was very attentive and helpful. We would love to return.
Negative: Not really much to dislike! Lighting could have been brighter in a couple of the bedrooms. It is worth knowing that the lovely pool towels are not allowed on the beach so worth taking beach towels with you, which luckily we did.

Positive: Maison Mimosa was absolutely perfect. It had all the facilities and a wonderful garden and pool. It was quiet and peaceful. Aziz was so kind and would help with making our stay very special. Fabulous place!
Negative: Nothing really! It is in between Sidi and Essaouria which we expected and was perfect for us. Someone who doesn’t know the area should be aware it is a good drive to both places (which fine for us)
