Summary: Fantastic location and all over great hotel! However, as a couple we had a king room which was rather small, and the bed was made of two singles put together; safe to say the beds kept sliding apart! Bathroom very clean and good facilities, however shower was not particularly hot. Overall a good stay, but Nantes is not a destination we would visit again due to the significant language barriers!

Summary: Great location. Great decor. Breakfast was decent. Issues with the heating. I had to call each night to get it started otherwise the room was cold. They manage to regulate it from remote. Not sure why they charged my card €100 of deposit. Not I'm waiting to get a refund...

Summary: Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Summary: I enjoyed the hotel stay incredibly well! The staff were fr only and helpful. The bed (including pillows and bedding) was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a very long time! I had a great nights sleep! The hotel decor is charming and it was a lovely hotel in the heart of the historic district.
