Summary: I decided to spend the day in Bora Bora and wanted to get it over the Water bungalow. This resort had the most affordable yet most updated bungalow over the water and when I say it was everything that I wanted and need it, I truly mean that the staff was very kind. I can’t swim, but the water wasn’t very deep below my bungalow or even by the private beach I was able to stand on 5’7 for reference. I was able to book an excursion soon as I arrived luckily was able to get and the same day to go swimming with the sharks and stingrays then back to shower and happy hour which was really nice to meet all the other people on the resort dinner was amazing! I went to the restaurant for barbecue. They had different options every day of the week and the pork ribs so yummy as an American we love our barbecue and I just missed Memorial Day weekend at home due to being away from my birthday, so the food hit the spot and gave me just a little taste of home. I was comfortable staying on this resort and in my bungalow alone. There are two grocery stores that are nearby one if you leave the resort going to the left and the other one going to the right, I went to the one going to the left. It had everything there which that is very convenient as well. It was maybe a 3 to 5 minute walk depending on how fast she walk. Walking to the store all the neighbors were very kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back! Book it!! I highly recommend getting the over the water bungalow!!

Summary: The hotel staff was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and worked hard to make it an enjoyable experience. The breakfast was excellent!! Happy hour was ok but there was not much interaction with the other guests. Drink selection was ok but not great. Was hoping for more engagement or social events. Great to have the restaurant close by. Did not like climbing the hill to our room so many times but had a great view once there!!! We got locked out of room on the porch but our neighbor saved us. Not sure what to do if that happened again (?). Fun place and very clean -pure paradise.

Summary: Our stay at the Mai Tai Polynesia was amazing. There were no over the water bungalows available online when we booked a reservations but something opened up when we got there and Julia assisted us with upgrading. She was very kind and so helpful. It was so worth it. There are coral reefs right below the bungalows and we were able to snorkel right from our deck. The customer service was amazing. The rooms are large. The food is good. They have free kayaking which we took advantage of and there is a coral garden right across the lagoon from the resort that we kayaked to several times. We saw turtles many rays lots of fish right from our deck. It is also located a five minute walk from Matira Beach the only public beach. It had wonderful snorkeling and was not ever crowded. I highly recommend this resort.

Summary: Our room was in need of refurbishment. Biggest concern was AC couldnt keep up with the hest. Never got below 80.

Summary: The property it’s like three stars and the food is terrible. It’s like one star I was so disappointing about the food. Nothing to eat good I got sick and I can enjoy the beach on Bora Bora.

Summary: Very nice hotel with good breakfast, clean, in front of the beach, near to Matira beach. The only thing we didn’t like was the transportation from and to the airport. The bus is old, with no air conditioning, and expensive.

Summary: From our upper floor room we had a beautiful view over the water to the reef. The room had a good sized balcony which we enjoyed every day. Even able to sit outside when it was raining as well protected. The bed was very comfortable and with housekeeping each day was appreciated. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the tours we booked through the hotel were wonderful. Breakfast had a good selection of choices. We enjoyed dining at their restaurant by the water. Happy hour was good value too!

Summary: This is one of our top locations ever! We stayed 3 nights in a premier over the water bungalow and the rest in a beachside bungalow. Both were incredible! The staff is fabulous, the views stunning, and the easy access to FREE use of kayaks, paddle boards, beach loungers and towels snorkel gear and left
