Rare find for your family reunion or corporate retreat! Our Estate has over 100 private acres of property and 4400 feet of waterfront on beautiful Great Moose Lake with a private sand beaches, boat dock and two islands. This property has multiple buildings available for all of your families needs. The property has a main house and 5 private cottages, each containing one bedroom, a pullout queen bed, a living room, a full bathroom and kitchenette. The main house has 3 bedrooms, a commercial kitchen, a dining room and enclosed porch. The 100 acres has 40 acres of meticulously maintained lawn and has plenty of room for family lawn games. With 4000+ feet of water frontage, it makes the perfect place for swimming, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding on the sand beach. Take the kayaks and canoes out to the two private islands for a quiet picnic lunch or stay the day and enjoy the solitude. At night you can cook s'mores around the giant fire pit and spend quality time together.

Summary: Every year we make the effort to gather 4 extended families for a vacation. Our stay at Grace on the Lake was definitely one to remember. There was more than enough room for all 18 of us. The table under the trees was constantly occupied by someone. The commercial kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals. The lake was perfect. The stars gave us an amazing show every night. Summary: If you are looking for pristine New England vacation, stop looking because you found it! Our group had such a great time and the venue was so beautiful we almost had a spontaneous wedding (we may be back for that). The place is perfect for a group of 15-20 because it has space to gather or decompress. The cottages were clean and easily fit two couples (one in the room and one on the queen size pullout). The lake is amazing and they provide kayaks, canoes, fishing rods, tubes etc. They are building a new wedding barn that is going to take this place over the top. The “old” barn was perfect for our lobster bake and a safety blanket for rainy days. The kitchen is HUGE and we were able to have multiple people prepare dinner for 15 simultaneously. A plus not mentioned is the golf cart (small additional fee), you will need it to get people, food, chairs to the lake. Lastly, the hosts Geoff and Sue are the most hospitable owners I have met (and I’ve booked many homes on VRBO). They let us check in a early, immediately fixed a problem with the golf cart, and were beyond understanding for accidental damage to the property. Stay here, you wont regret it.

Summary: Our group of 24 had a wonderful reunion in Athens. There was plenty of space for all of us and lots of opportunity for activity and relaxation. The hosts were kind and accommodating, too. We’d definitely come back.

Summary: We brought a group of 16 people to the Grace on the lake. It is a HUGE property by the great moose lake. If the weather was nice, the property will be super beautiful. The owner is very nice and always staying on top of our questions and needs. He generously gave us late checkout so we can enjoy the weather (the only sunny day was the day we checkout). The only tips I would give to other guests - 1. bring bug sprays and if you have any tools to kill flies , bring them too. 2. some may want to bring their own inflatable mattress if they can. The mattresses they have in the cottage are quite soft and bouncy. The beds in main houses are way nicer. 3. bring extension cords, long ones ideally. 4. bring beach chairs so you can enjoy the fire pits. They do not allow indoor chairs to go out so bring your own.

Summary: Grace on the Lake was the perfect vacation to connect with family and detach from the world. The setting is beyond peaceful - remote, beautiful, picturesque. Words cannot describe the reaction we had each morning when we walked out of our cottage and took in the view of the lake. It is the ideal vacation for those seeking an active lifestyle AND those wanting the low key lake life. There is so much to do on the lake - swimming, kayaking, floating, rafting, canoeing, paddle-boarding, or just relaxing. There is a ton of property available for hiking and exploring, playing lawn games, relaxing in the sun, or sitting by the fire pit. The multiple houses and cottages allowed for everyone to be together while having their own space - ideal for anytime, and particularly in times of COVID. The main house is well equipped for hosting large groups and the cottages and loft house have all the necessary amenities to provide a comfortable living space. The owners Geoff and Sue are lovely, very responsive, and invested in making it a great experience for their guests. They were beyond accommodating. Given the relatively small amount of time they have owned the property, they have done incredible work with the place and have an amazing vision for where this property will be in the coming months and years. We would absolutely come back again and plan to. I can’t imagine where else our family could go for a better vacation! We were so sad to leave and miss it already.

Summary: The property was beautiful with plenty of stuff to do....slept all 30 of us comfortably and the worker that maintains the property went above and beyond to take care of all the fire would we needed. Owners were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome! Would highly recommend this property for any occasion!
