Positive: I was in India for vacation and stayed at RR Homestay with my family. It is a very basic homestay with simple facilities, but it works well for families or groups of around 6–8 people. The house is a traditional old Kerala tiled house, and nowadays it’s rare to see these kinds of beautiful ancient homes. One thing we really liked was that the rooms stay naturally cool inside even when the weather outside is quite hot. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He suggested good places to visit nearby and also arranged vehicles for us to travel around, which was very convenient. The nearest bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away, and the property is located close to NH66, so connectivity is good. If you are looking for a budget stay with a traditional village experience and not a luxury hotel, this place is a good option.

Positive: RR Homestay is an old Kerala-style house with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. We a family of 4, stayed for 3 days. It is a very basic home with simple amenities, offered at a very affordable price. If you are looking for a luxury stay, this may not be the right choice. However, it is perfect for budget travelers and normal families who prefer a simple and economical stay. The house remains cool inside compared to the outside temperature, which makes it comfortable even during hot days. We ordered food through Swiggy and Zomato, and the owner also provides home-cooked food at a minimal price if needed. There are also small local restaurants and grocery shops within walking distance, which is very convenient. Overall, our stay was good and pleasant. It’s a simple, budget-friendly home suitable for travelers who value affordability over luxury. :)
Negative: As it is an old tiled house, the roof height is low in certain areas, so guests should mind their head while entering.
