4 Bedroom House in Healesville

Malley House is a luxurious self contained guest house. We have taken to cleaning the house after every stay extensively cleaning all surfaces and ammenities using sterilising agents for your security and safety.
Malley House can accommodate 1 to 10 people and is located minutes away and a 450 metre walk to the main road of Healesville where Innocent Bystander, Five steps, and other restaurants are.
We do take one night bookings midweek. however prefer two night bookings. Holiday oeriods require a three night booking on weekends. Please inquire regarding the tariff for one night bookings on weekends as we have a different price for the one night. There is an additional fee of $100 for one night bookings midweek.
The Space
The house design has been inspired by provincial country living.
With the spacious master suite and generous size bedrooms the house is layered with a blend of provincial and contemporary items from the large oak dining table to the diamond shaped glass kitchen pendent lights. Quality bedding and thick luxurious towels. The gentle tones create an elegant sophisticated look throughout. The house has been created to make you feel like you don't ever want to leave.
Kitchen
The stone kitchen bench is large enough to cater for a buffet or a sit around for fun conversation over a glass of wine or two. With high ceilings and an open design it is perfect for large groups and families. The dining table can seat up to 8+ people. The appliances, stove, rangehood, and dishwasher are all reliable high quality brands.
Bathroom
The en-suite bathroom has an oversized shower with a rain shower head and a slipper style bath, making it very easy to sit back and relax the time away. A heated floor provides warmth for those chilly Healesville mornings.

4 Bedrooms / 3 doube beds Beds, two single bunk beds, and one sofa double bed. Double sided wood fireplace.
1 large Queen in master suite with 2 queens upstairs and a double single bunk beds. There is also a Sofa bed with the sofa extending out to a double bed.
Malley House includes the following:
Large kitchen with a six burner stove and french provincial dining table.
4 Bedrooms with quality fine linen provided.
2 Modern Bathrooms
Master chandelier Bedroom: Bathroom 1: 1 slipper bath, 1 large sliding door shower and toilet. Heated tile floor and double sided light controlled Magnified mirror.
Second upstairs bathroom: 1 large sliding door shower and toilet. Double sided magnified light controlled mirror
Laundry bathroom
Combined laundry/guest bathroom with laundry sink, vanity basin and toilet. Washing machine, iron, and ironing board provided.
Lounge room
75 inch (190cm)4K ultra high definition flat screen smart television with Foxtel, Netflix and Telstra television. Wi-Fi and DVD player.
Comfortable seating for all guests with French doors opening onto an expansive verandah..
Split system air conditioners to Kitchen L, Lounge room and all bedrooms.
If a guest books Malley House and Bradshaw Cottage together, the spa is available.
The combined house and cottage will accommodate 10 people. Please contact us do discuss your needs should you want to hire the house and cottage combined. We also will take a one night booking for weekends which has a different higher tariff.
Smoking: Due to health and safety regulations smoking is strictly forbidden in the house.
Please make sure doors to the house are closed when smoking outside on either of the verandas. Please dispose cigarette butts and do not drop them on the grounds or garden. Thank .
Please note, weekend bookings we take a two night minimum booking and for long weekends a three night booking is required. Please be aware, the charge for staying is based on how many people are staying. Thank you.

Summary: We planned a winter getaway for 5 girls in the Yarra Valley wine region. Accommodation is in a nice quiet street a short walk to the Main Street and cafes. House was nice overall. Very cosy with a lovely fireplace and relaxing sofas (loads of cushions!). Lots of amenities - owner kindly provided milk, eggs and bread which was nice! We did have a few issues which unfortunately brought down the rating. There was a bad stale tank water/sewage smell from the laundry which permeated to the kitchen and pantry all weekend. Owner suggested to run the washing machine but it didn’t help. No internet so had to hotspot off our phones including to use the tv. O contacted the owner who said had changed provider but not alerted us to this or provided details. This is not a 4 bedroom house- 3 lovely bedrooms (1 gorgeous en suite) but the ‘4th’ has no door just a shutter screen to move in place and is really only suitable for children with small bunks and sofa bed. Lastly, owner sent an odd message the night before we arrived to ensure we had no additional guests as he would be checking the outdoor security cameras to confirm numbers- not very welcoming or trusting as I’m sure the majority of guests do the right thing. Overall it was a nice place to stay but more suitable for families than a friends getaway.

Summary: This property is very clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of plates cups and cooking utensils etc in the kitchen. You can't see from the photos but the open fire place is double sided and you can see it in the lounge room. The tv is probably a little big for the room but none the less spectacular. I have never seen Jane Bunns head that big before. Close to the main street in Healesville with supermarkets and gourmet food shops. No traffic noise very quiet. Well worth it

Summary: Best part of the house is the spacious kitchen where the adults spent most of the time. Kids love the bunk room. The house was cozy with tasteful decos.

Summary: This property puts quantity ahead of quality. Not as amazing as it appears in the listing. Showers not clean, tired furnishings, etc. Heating was not adequate for Healesville in the winter; it took a long time for us to get warm. Best features of the this house are the enormous television and the large number of beds available.
