Summary: The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and I really appreciated the variety of pillows available. Check-in was quick and easy, and the location was peaceful and quiet, making for a relaxing stay. The only things keeping this from being a 5-star experience were that there is no elevator—which I wasn’t aware of until we arrived—the entrance is a bit difficult to find, and the nightly rate is comparable to several higher-end hotels in the area that offer more amenities. Overall, I would recommend staying here, especially if you’re aware of these considerations before booking.

Summary: With a festival in town the streets were crowded, they made sure we had close in parking. Amazing staff!! Very helpful and quick to respond

Summary: Room was comfortable and the outdoor space on the balcony was great. Very good location to walk around the quaint part of town and watch river activities.

Summary: I go to Salida a few times a year, but had never stayed at the Manhattan until now. It's fantastic. Even the AirBnB's I've stayed in near town aren't quite as good.

Summary: Beautiful historic hotel in a perfect location. Plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. There is no front desk, so it’s more of an air’b’n’b experience.

Summary: The property is as vey nice, clean, easy to engage the check in process. The balcony overlooking the river, *chef’s kiss*! The location was perfect for, and selected for, being able to walk around the main part of downtown. Easy access to shopping and dining. The ONLY real detractor, for us mind you, was that very proximity. The nightlife was vibrant and, well, loud. If you’re into that sort of scene this would be perfect for you. If you go to bed at 9p like us, something to consider. All in all a great place to stay in a great little mountain town.
