Summary: This house was everything we needed for our trip. We had 4 adults and we had plenty of room. The open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room is great for socializing. Sharon was very accommodating for our stay and we plan on visiting again!

Summary: This was our 3rd year visiting Manitou Beach, and really like the amenities and recreation in the area. The place we have stayed the previous 2 yrs wasn’t available for the week we were traveling, so we looked at this property. Our party was bigger than the listing afforded, but looking at the pictures on line, I felt the space should suit our needs, so I contacted the owner and asked if it would be a problem to have more than the listing, and if there was an extra charge. She stated “That is fine”. When we arrived, the owner noticed there were more of us than the booking stated, and raised the issue with me. I told her that I had contacted her and said that she said it would be okay. Later she came and asked for an additional money. I paid the extra $ as I did not want to have the issue spoil our vacation that we had travelled 6.5 hrs to get to. As for the property itself, I was pleased to see it had some amenities that were not listed on the site, such as a BBQ & a fire pit. The yard was nice for our 2 small grandchildren to play in when we weren’t headed to a park or the beach, or other activities. The site lists the property as air conditioned, but this is a wall A/C unit in the utility room that does not circulate to the bedrooms. Fortunately, the weather wasn’t as warm as last year when the temperature hit 38C one of the days. We went to the hardware store in town and purchased a fan to circulate the air better, and that coupled with the cooler conditions, the temperature in the unit was tolerable. We did open windows at night, but the one in the room I was in didn’t have a screen on it, we avoided bugs by keeping the light off in the bedroom.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! The beds were very comfortable and we loved having all the space both indoors and outside. The street the house is on is very quiet with almost no traffic whatsoever. Our family made use of the grill and the well-supplied kitchen. The internet was very fast, streaming content was easy. There were also enough keys for the door for all of us so we didn’t need to worry about who had the one key (an issue we’ve had in other places). Overall, highly recommend!

Summary: We had a great time at this rental! Very well kept, a short walk to the lake, no beach front but was an awesome place to stay! Enjoyed shopping and loved all the cute little eating places and of course the spa! owners are very nice and accommodating! Would highly recommend this place!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the beach cottage. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was a lot to do in Manitou Beach! We really appreciated the pet-friendly nature of the home, and the large yard. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We'll be back! :)
