Positive: The location is fantastic. It over looks the river and some lovely countryside. The welcome at check in was great. The room was good. It was on the ground floor, and the back door led out to a little patio area at the back where we could sit and admire the view. The food was fantastic.
Negative: It's a little weird that the glass back door out to the lawns only has a see through curtain in front of it. Luckily we stayed in late autumn and the hotel wasn't busy, but there are easy chairs out on those lawns and I can imagine in summer people are out there enjoying the late evening sunshine. Therefore, if you have the lights on in your room there is no privacy.

Positive: The staff and presentation of the property were faultless. All staff could not have been more helpful. The food and service were of a high standard and the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The situation and peaceful atmosphere were wonderful.
