Positive: The Manoir is in a beautiful and fascinating location. It is located in a working stud farm where racing horses are bred and raised. We enjoyed watching the horses with their very young colts exercising in fields around the house. The house is furnished with a lot of horse related decor. The proprietor was friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.

Negative: It was a little hard to find the proprietor when we arrived but she appeared soon so all was well.

Summary: We were happy with our stay.

Positive: Great country side retreat, peaceful and quiet. Horses were terrific to look at and interact. Very pleasant house master. Great place to start the Calvados route and cider tasting at the local distilleries.

Negative: WiFi may be OK for sporadic use, but not for business.

Positive: We stayed in the newly converted stables and our room was very spacious, comfortable and charmingly decorated with lovely antique furniture. Breakfast was in the main house and was excellent. The setting of Immaculately maintained historical buildings in lush Countryside close to the beautiful little town of Beauvron-en-Auge was perfect as was the friendly welcome.
