Positive: The property is in an excellent location within a short walk to the beach and the town centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming and rooms were clean. We booked a parking place at the back of the hotel.

Negative: Breakfast was poor and not worth paying extra for as there are plenty of cafes within a short walk of the hotel.

Summary: We would stay there again as it was good value for money and clean, but wouldn’t bother to eat there.

Positive: Very friendly greeting, cosy recently decorated room varied menu and good value for money.

Negative: I was unlucky to be eating on an evening when there was a dance class. Unfortunately the door was left open to the function room and the music loud and repetitive. They only had one music track.

Negative: Bed was quite hard. Pillows not very comfortable. Window very draughty. Stuffed loo roll in it which helped. Paint had been spilt on carpet and not cleaned off.
