Positive: Beautiful and clean apartment, perfect for travelling alone or as a couple. The location was amazing. And very responsive hosts, quick to reply to queries via email and WhatsApp. Most of the big tourist attractions were a very short walk away. Plenty of fantastic local restaurants and all the staff spoke English, which helped (many menus are printed in Italian and English).

Positive: This is a lovely quaint place with gorgeous wooden beams on the roof and skylights. Modern appliances and host was very helpful. location was great too: walking distance to everything. There were games to play and enough dishes etc for the 4 of us.

Negative: The lighting isn’t great. there are a lot of peripheral lights but no main light and none over the dining table so we used our torch lights on our phone a bit. It’s also the only place we have booked through booking.com where we have had to strip our sheets and take out all our rubbish. I’m sure if not being able to leave any rubbish behind is a common thing or not, but i’ve not experienced it before at any other place we have stayed at.

Positive: The perfect Parma location, a stunningly designed, artful space, wonderfully clean, easy in and out, well-stocked with amenities.

Negative: The communication with the host, once we were there, could have been slightly better, but she was very responsive mostly. The WiFi was inconsistent. The very low beam near the sleeping area was a bit challenging to navigate — but it was beautiful … so, not complaining; just watch your head!

Positive: Loves so many things about this property. It’s very clean, spacious, well-equipped, great location, very quiet. Very comfortable bed. Location is right in the heart of things, close to many shops, bars and restaurants but surprisingly quiet inside the apartment. We’ve travelled throughout Italy for decades and this is definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Felt like home. Could easily live there.
