Positive: The apartment was very spacious and cozy. Quiet, rural location close to low Tatras hiking trails. The accommodation was dog friendly (no extra fee for the dog, but do keep in mind that there is a steep stair to reach the room - for some dogs it could be challenging). The owner of the apartment lives in the same building on the first floor. She doesn't speak English, so communication was a bit challenging but we managed to arrange everything just fine.

Negative: We saw a mouse in the kitchen twice during our first evening there. I guess it is normal for a rural house, yet it was an unpleasant surprise, considering we kept some food on the counters.
