Summary: Superb. By far the best equipped property I have rented (and I have rented a lot). There was nothing we wanted that wasn't there. There are 4 restaurants in the immediate vicinity (we tried 3 which were all very good) with more in San Juan de los Terreros a 45 minute walk away (or an hour or more in 30+ degrees heat!!). The nearest complex pool is only yards away and, as with the villa and the complex grounds is immaculate

Summary: We stayed at this property during the months of February and March 2018. The house is situated in a high quality residential resort. As experienced travellers who have stayed in vacation homes for longer periods during many years we consider ourselves able to judge the houses we rent. This house is in our opinion worth a top rating. The location is superb, it is very well maintained, extremely well equipped and it was very clean upon our arrival. The local caretaker is a professional and very helpfull. We enjoyed the house so much that we have rented it again in 2019 for the months of February and March. It realy is a home away from home

Summary: Expectations are surpassed! Reality is fantastic! We stayed in a typical Spanish Tower House, situated near the sea in a beautiful landscaped and peaceful complex Mar de Pulpi with an amazing view at the Mediterranean Sea. The House has all the comfort, is luxurious and very clean. Sports activities, swimming pools and sea, great restaurants, all within short walking distance. In short: It is a must to be here! Summary: We had an amazing time at Peggy’s beautiful spotless condo just steps away from the beach! we loved everything about it from the balcony views and to waking up in beautiful linen comfortable beds looking out to the ocean view! the condo was very well equipped with everything we could possibly ask for we were just steps away from a shopping center with a few great restaurants and a nice little supermarket. I would recommend Peggy‘s condo to anyone that is ready for a relaxing holiday !

Summary: The villa is lovely, exactly as advertised and photographed. The communal swimming pools are great and seldomly busy. It's a very relaxing, clean and well maintained complex. The area itself is brilliantly unspoilt or touristy. Playa Carolina is gorgeous. Perfect for families as the water is clear and shallow. There is some great snorkelling too but Chiriniguito Concedores was a real find. It's an amazing place to have a long lazy lunch and incredibly good value for money. Otherwise we loved Canal Nautico and the local complex cafe/restaurant is excellent. The complex chiringuito is pretty good too. Food wise you are spoilt for choice actually. The little extras the villa offers like the beach equipment and snorkels etc is a super lovely and thoughtful touch. We really really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for those looking for some real Spanish flavour and not a holiday in Benidorm. You won't regret it.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Mar de Pulpi. I don't think we've ever stayed somewhere that was so clean & well equipped with everything you could possible need. Ava was great to deal with & does a wonderful job of managing things. All in all a fantastic week & we certainly hope to return!

Summary: This property is basically right on the water. The only things separating it from the Mediterranean is some nice landscaping and a dirt road to the local bistro/cafe. My wife and I spent three months at this property and at the begining of our stay, in January, we were virtually alone in the complex. The owner and her property managers were responsive to all our needs and questions. The weather was cooperative and we managed to play golf at two local courses twice a week. The location was great to get to Granada, Gibraltar and Barcelona, which is the furthest drive away at about 7 hours. There are four pool area in the complex and one of them was heated during our entire stay. I have no hesitation in recommedning this property.

Summary: “Mediterranean Beauty - Great Location and view” We rented this lovely townhouse from January - April. 2017. The weather in this area is great. The lowest day temperature has been 10C with most days in the high teens - mid 20sC. The townhouse is as advertised. no surprises. It is well outfitted in the kitchen, the bed is comfortable, the TV has many channels as well as movies. We are golfers and there are 4 courses within a half hour drive. We have taken advantage of golf packages at Desert Springs and Aguilon. There are lots of day trip destinations - Aguilas, San Juan of course, Mojacar, Villaricos etc. Granada and the Alhambra are a few hours away but worth an overnight stay. Peggy, the owner of the villa and Ava, the property manager are both very approachable and helpful. The roof top view of the sea and the Torreros castle is stunning. Outside the front door are walking paths, exercise stations and 3 restaurants, plus a smalll grocery store is on site as well. Parking is underground and secure. A beautiful location.

Summary: We are a family of 5, myself, wife and our 3 boys aged 4, 8 and 13. This was our first time away from package holidays so we weren't too sure what to expect planning our own holiday. I have to say that we had our concerns after reading the horror stories people have had booking villas and being ripped off, so we approached the whole process with extreme caution. That said the booking experience through Home Away and the payment protection set our minds at ease, this coupled with Peggy's prompt replies and information provided to our numerous emails really took away any doubts and concerns. The villa itself is absolutely stunning and the views over the seafront were breathtaking everyday. We were all very comfortable in the villa with the boys having enough entertainment through the various games and TV available to keep them occupied when needed. You can find everything in the villa to make it a home from home, the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, the bathrooms stocked up with toilet rolls and towels. The beds were comfortable for all of us, even though my wife and I suffer with bad backs, we found ourselves comfortable with no aches or pains from our bed. The communal pool was brilliant and on most days we had it pretty much to ourselves, the kids really enjoyed it! We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of equipment in the storage room in the garage, it meant the kids had plenty of extra fun on our the beach trips. And on that topic, boy you really are spoiled for choice when it comes to the beaches. Plenty of stunning soft sand beaches with clear water within a short drive from the villa. The beach front on the complex was fine if you didn't want to drive anywhere but is a bit pebbly with some rocks in the waterline so beach shoes essential here. The restaurants on the complex were fine although a bit pricey, you're much better off venturing away for dining out. Meson Papa in San Juan is a must visit, great food although can get busy in the daytime very quickly. Pimento in Aguilas has some great tapas at ridiculously cheap prices. We took the kids to the water park in Vera which is reasonably priced and although not a huge park was still a great day out for everyone. We really enjoyed our 1st venture away from package holidays, the villa was perfect for us with the only real gripe being the chimenea BBQ not set up for charcoal but had a broken electric BBQ instead, easily solved with a disposable BBQ from Aldi!
