Positive: The perfect Mara stay. I can’t explain how wonderful was our stay at Mara Hilltop. The luxury tent is gorgeous and comfortable, the food is the most delicious, the view is breathtaking, every single person working there goes above and beyond to make your stay perfectly tailored for you. The activities were spotlessly organised. Amazing car safari, (night and day) with experienced Masai (we were overwhelmed by the number of animal spotted), the hilltop walk was great, the Masai guides explained their colture and the view is unmissable. We loved the fire and the Masai dance. The attention to details and the outstanding care made our holiday a perfect one. We also visited the dorm which is fantastic, my sons are thinking to come back there and stay for longer because there is a workplace with an amazing WiFi. Beds are beautiful and high quality, the bathrooms are clean and beautiful. I could this an amazing idea for the people working remotely. Thank you to everyone for taking such a care of us ❤️

Positive: Personalised efforts made by staff and management in going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Good location for pre and post safari at Masai Mara. Mara Hilltop becomes ideal for digital nomads who relish working with high speed internet amidst nature. Hadn't expected to find a pizza cooked in wood fired oven at such a venue. Meals are amazing, the highlight being the pizza & mishkaki night. was impressed with the variety as well. Safari on a motorbike is an adventure to be tried in my next visit. ⁠You definitely need one additional day to relax and some interesting activities that they have (I recommend the hike, worth it)

Positive: Mara Hill Top was hands down exceptional when it came to service. Their staff was very professional yet incredibly kind, friendly, and warm. Prior to our arrival they even added me to a WhatsApp group chat for anything we needed during our stay. They even asked if we had any meal restrictions/preferences. I mentioned how I loved nyama choma and I didn’t expect I would get a tailored meal that evening/dinner I arrived. It was so generous of them and I really appreciated it. Not to forget their meals were all amazing! Besides that, the location is perfect (approximately 10-15 mins from the Maasai Mara Sekenani Gate) and also based on top of the hill and overlooking the vastness of Mara. The view is beautiful. Also, perfect for stargazing at night as it’s away from most of the light population from the city. The room was also very clean and just loved how peaceful it was. The rooms are all separated so you have your own privacy as well which I really loved too! Just wanted to thank the staff for such great hospitality and their warmth!

Positive: We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

They served amazing breakfast and dinner, as well as gave us pack away lunch for when we were on safari. The owner went above and beyond to make it an amazing stay, and we will definitely be back to this property.

Positive: It was a great location overseeing the valley. And the Maasai Mara park. I had an incredible dinner. The best goat of my life. The people were also super nice. We went for a Nature walk which was lovely. Even after having seen the Governors camp in the paek. It was so cool as we could WALK and not drive between the Zebras and Gnus.

Negative: They should improve the signs to find the place.

Summary: Great experience in a great location with a great stuff!!
