Positive: Amazing location, directly in front or the beach/marina! Short 5 minute walk to Main Street, restaurants, and the pier. Large home, great for our family of six, comfortable beds and amenities.
Negative: Nothing, perfect property.
Summary: Ale and her family were so kind and accommodating.providing us breakfast, help with taxis, and suggesting activities.

Positive: So, this is a great little guest house and you feel like you're part of the neighborhood, including the seal lion hood (which we really enjoyed). The first few days we were by ourselves and then we were joined by another family also traveling the Galapagos. It has a well appointed kitchen, and provides drinking water, which is a huge bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the AC is cold. We would stay here again, the location couldn't be beat.
Negative: The house was clean, well dusted, smelled wonderful, but the floor could use a good mopping. We helped ourselves to fresh towels after the third day at the house, and the sheets were not changed for the 5 nights we stayed, again, no big deal for us, just an item to note. Take care with sugar ants, which are common in a lot of regions, by putting food away and cleaning crumbs off the counter.

Positive: Alejandra was a wonderful host with great local recommendations of things to do and where to go. The house was beautiful and located right on the waterfront for excellent views of the beach, sun, and sea lions. The room had A/C and the beds were so comfortable! It is also very walkable from town.

Positive: We liked the closeness to main malecón in town. The fact that it is a single home with rooms to rent.
Negative: The use of the shared bathroom, the lack of water pressure even to flush the toilet properly, which can be embarrassing when you share the bathroom. I do understand that we were on the islands and I do understand the water conservation but when you put up your house for rent you need to provide the service.

Positive: Romina met us when we got off the ferry and guided us the short walk to the guest house. She had fantastic recommendations. The guest house is adorable and we felt right at home. There was filtered water and a clothes washer available. It is right across the street from the beach full of sea lions! We felt very safe and highly recommend Mare Mío!

Positive: The house was in a perfect location! Watching the turquoise waters every day from the dining room and the sea lions (60+) and one that hung out on the front porch under the hammock was the best greeter! The house was clean and fully stocked with water we needed. The washer was excellent. Look forward to staying again. The family was so sweet and kind!!

Positive: The owners are very nice people and try to help you asap in any problem you have. The hostel is comfortable, cozy and clean and is located in a quiet place but very close to the city center.
Negative: bad wifi but i think it is a general problem in the island.
